At one time, although I'm not sure how far back, Forest Lawn may have been City Memorial, but I know it has been Forest Lawn since prior to 2007 when she passed. If you'll notice that most of the references in her obit are to Cherryville. There is an active Cherryville City Memorial. IN fact, she has a memorial there Find A Grave #21870549.

I am trying to find the grave of Clara Dellinger in Mountain Rest Cemetery. She is in this site but maybe I am not doing something right. I am the step mother of her grandson, Matthew Robertson. My name is Susan Hartsoe. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Matthew didn't get to attend her funeral because his wife at the time was having open heart surgery. She was the only family he had left. Her daughter, Ann died when he was a baby with cancer. And after his grandmother Clara passed he lost all contact with anyone on his mother's side. Thanks for your help.

I am a great grandaughter of Adolphus Brooks and am researching my family ancestry. I was wondering if there were any pictures associated with him, and if so, how may I get a copy? I am requesting medical records from the Hospital but alas I fear I am too late, for I was told many records were recently destroyed. Please advise of any photos, or contacts to get photos, or photo of gravesite.

|Ronald Halford||Ben Dotson transfer|
Thank You for the transfer of Uncle Ben Dotson, I took my mother down to the cemetery in the fall of 2009 and showed her his grave. She was only a child when he died and had never been to the cemetery. She didn't even know where he was buried. Mother is the only living member of this large family of 13 children. Your work on Find A Grave allowed me to locate Ben and let her visit her brother. I thank you for your work on Find A Grave.

|Ronald Halford||Ben Dotson|
My name is Ronald Halford, you entered my uncle Ben Dotson in Find a Grave memorials for Broughton Hospital Cemetery, thank you for that, I would like to connect him to his parents so the geneology researchers in the future can trace their roots. As you know only the contributor can add to the memorial as far as parents and spouse. Would you add Bens parents and spouse for me or transfer his memorial to me and I will be happy to add all the family to it. Thanks for your work. I will be going down to Morganton today hopefully and photo some of the stones and put them in Find A Grave I could not find Uncle Bens on the last trip but have researched the cemetery and now know their layout plan and feel confident I can find any grave listed if they have marker. If I can help you in your searches around Buncombe Co. let me know.

Check it out now.
I work with Ray @Wal~Mart DC. He somehow knew about my hobby and when I asked him how he knew I photographed cemeteries he mentioned that you are a friend of his wife. I told him I had ran into a lot of cemeteries that you had done and that you are doing a great job.
Thanks so much for the directions, trying to create maps for all the cemeteries I have added either by photography or obits. If you think they still need modification, please don't hesitate to let me know.
this one was added with an obituary.

Will you look at this map and tell me if it needs to be up further?
I don't have any immediant intention of visiting this cemetery, but since I added it from an obituary it deserves a map. Asked Ray Padgett about the cemetery, mutual friend I believe, he knew where it was located, but you can check out the map and tell me how much off it is.
Many thanks and i will give you credit for the help on the map>
