Charles Scheim
Scheim/Fishbeins
Hi Mr. Cannata - I came across your work on this website regarding my family members. My father was Sherwood Scheim, whose mother was Esther Fishbein. I was wondering if you had any other information about my relatives. Am I related to you? I also might be able to help you fill in some of the missing information. Charlie Scheim

Thanks for checking. I thought so, that's why I didn't send it as an EDIT but asked you directly. Thank You

Thanks for letting me know, Ray. Three cemeteries were merged and we're working through it. If you come across any more do me a favor and let me know through the Edit > Other tab.

Philippine Zander
Thanks Ray for your great photo of the Philippine Zander gravestone at Gates of Prayer. It included her birthplace and the Hebrew inscription gave me the name of her father Yehoshua. Good work.

Anne Lemkowitz
Hi! I saw that you entered Anne Lemkowitz to FindaGrave. I'm her first cousin thrice removed (her father was my great-great-grandfather's niece. How are you related? Do you have any more info on this side of my family? I'd be so grateful whatever you can share. Thanks!

Yes, with eventually being the key word! I still think some contributors don't even know about the little edit button on their contributor page!

Again, thanks for all your contributions!

Hey Ray

Thanks for the response. I'm not the manager of the duplicate memorial, so I can't do anything with it. I was only on that cemetery list to add someone else & noticed it.

Take Care,
Colette

Harold Atkins
Rebecca Gaefinkel
You are correct. Her husband was Benjamin Garfinkel, who preceded her to the US and died before she arrived with her children.

RE: Rebecca Garfinkel
Thank you for getting back to me so rapidly. I checked my notes from the Samuels family. That is where I obtained the information about her birth in Vilnius in 1873 and is so stated in my Family Tree Maker file. However, it seems that she must have moved to the Ukraine when she married David Schmykis(Samuels). Thanks again. I appreciate your work.

Grave for Rebecca Breindel Garfinkel
I note that you have her birth in Vilnius, Lithuania. She is my wife's grandmother and all the evidence I have is that she was born in Annapol, Ukraine, but the family were Litvaks. Do you have any other documentation?

Record Keeper
Crowson
One more thing. I have another child for Thomas & Nannie Gulledge Crowson. Fred Bayard Crowson. He lived and died in Goldsboro, NC where he was a banker. He was not on findagrave, so using information from death certificates, I put he and his wife on findagrave and linked him to Thomas S Crowson. They are buried at Willow Dale Cemetery in Goldsboro, Wayne Co, NC

Record Keeper
Clara Crowson
I researched the Crowson family for my friend, a nephew of Fannie Hutchinson Crowson. He told me that Clara was to be married and was given an 'ice cream social' by her friends. Clara got sick and died. I found the story in the Wadesboro paper. It said that it was a hot day and raw eggs were put in the ice cream which sickened people. I can't remember how many died, but Clara died before she was married.

Thomas Crowson married 2nd Fannie Hutchinson on 7 March 1894 in Anson Co. Fannie moved to Salisbury, Rowan, NC where her family had moved to run a boarding house. Fannie Crowson is buried at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Salisbury.

David Levy
I was wondering if you could give me some information on David Levy. I am trying to locate a David Levy. Mine is born the same year as your's but I don't have a death date. He lived in Conn. at the time of my information. I think you may have the same one I have. Mine attended the university of Pa. If this is the correct one, I have a picture of him I want to add to your memorial. It is from his 1895 20 year reunion yearbook of the Pa. University.

RE: regina dreyfus
Thank you for the quick reply! I've been researching a family with the name of Dreyfous, their name was misspelled as Dreyfus in a number of instances, but I don't think Regina was related. If I come across any data that could link her to others, I'll let you know. Thanks again.
