Ann Decker
Hi Joann:

I was at the cemetery yesterday 7/4/14 and took photos of 59 grave sites all that were legible. I have 12 Decker stones but no Ann. Is there another name that you need? Many of the stone engravings have been washed away or destroyed.

High Plains
Hi JoAnn,

Have taken pictures of the grave markers of Gilbert and Mary in the Glendive Cemetery as you requested. Also have taken pictures of Geneva Burdick, Julia Burdick Hulbert and Alice Burdick Dooray. Also a few more graves with the last name of Rock which looked as if they were in the same plot.

Best wishes,
High Plains :)

Tirzah French
I was able to find 3 of the 4 French stones you requested but could not fin Tirzah French. Back in 2006 they did a complete transcription of that cemetery and Tirzah's name was not listed as being in that cemetery. It might help if you could let me know the relationship to the other French people in the cemetery. That way I can look harder in certain sections of the cemetery.

RE: John W. Grimsley
John W. Grimsley and Letitia are my GGGreat Grandparents. Unfortunately, I don't have hard evidence to prove John F. Grimsley is the child of John's. I know Letitia has public court documents for the land deed for Kendricks Creek area and when she passed away a hearing was held to where each child was going.
Rumor has it that John W. was stabbed but I have not found any evidence of it. Plus, no evidence to prove the identity who Letitia was. Sorry.

Which John Grimsley? I might be able to help you. I lot of the Grimsley prior to 1930 were born at home. So, I am not sure if there will be one. There are numerous John's so If you have more info I can check for you. Mysteryayres

RE: Photo at Hildreth Cemetery
Glad I could help.

Not sure if you noticed in the pictures, but the grave stones are laying in the grass.

Sadly this cemetery was recently vandalized on a large scale, and the Butterfield stones were tipped over as a result. One of the people responsible was caught, but I haven't see any kind of repairs done since this incident occurred.

Good luck with the Mayflower application.

Centerville Cemetery
I added a few more Hanks to the Centerville Cem. They are not decendants of mine - I was just passing though Centerville and had my camera with me.
