Some of the markers are Bolding and some Bowling but apparently they are the same family.

A descendent of C. N. Bowling, has contacted me with a request to add geneological information to his page. I put in Robert but not C. N. You can either transfer CN to me and I'll do it or I can refer her to you. Nancy

Gillsville Banks to Hall County
On the memorial page itself, where it says Burial, click Edit and you'll be taken to a place where it lets you choose Cemetery Burial or other. Continue from there, enter Gillsville for cemetery name, and you will be shown two choices. Change it from Banks to Hall County, click to Save the change, and it will be moved.

The inscription on Mahala Martin Bowling's stone reads : "Her life was like a half blown rose
Closed ere the shades of evening
Her death the dawn the blushing hour
That opes the gates to Heaven"

Bill may I ask what you are using to clean the tombstones? I see so many, especially of little children, that I would like to clean but am afraid to use anything but plain water and a really soft brush and even that in this cold weather.

Great photo of Mahala Bowling's marker at Timber Ridge. I was out there several days ago and it was so dark her name was difficult to read.

RE: Whitney Family
Good hearing from you Bill. I usually never mind transferring memorials to family members. As you can tell from my profile, I think I manage about 85 less memorials than I added. That's number is usually the transfers I've made.

Good luck!

John
