It was a stretch. Leonidas Hughes Parsley was from Rush Co. I found at least 3 marriages for him - my ancestor being #2. He ended up in California.

Sheila, thanks for info...one thing those 2 boys in 1930 are Verna's. They can't be Gertie's because they were born before Verna died 1929 & before Clyde mrd to Gertie, ck their dob's and Clyde and Gertie mrd AFTER they were born. So they belong to Verna and Clyde.

Hi, I hope I'm on right track here...I have a marr rec for a related cuz to Clyde, prob had 2 kids but she died 1926 then he mrd a Gertie acc/to my info who died then I am wondering if Hattie is a 3rd wife. do you have a marr rec for him and Hattie?
On his Dc says he was mrd so that rules out Verna and Gertie, both being dec'd by then and informant was Kenneth whom yr comment says was son of Earl which would been Clyde's brother per census.
