Nicholas after his divorce he may have remarried but not to my knowledge. He had had a lung removed using blood thinners to help with his blood clots. He did have a girlfriend. Is this her and are you related?

OK, Scratch that last message. I now see that I wrote down the wrong number. It's 9630, not 9360. Weird that there was a missing marker right there! I'll go and get the photo for him soon.

Hello, I went to photograph his grave marker at Fort Snelling and was surprised to see a space there where his marker should be. if you are family you might want to see what's up with that. I photographed the neighboring graves of Steven Lillygren and Cyril Clark Foss so you can see they occupy spaces C-9361 and C-9359 resp. I put up a photo of the grave position on the memorial but that's all I can do here.

You're welcome. I've transferred the memorial to you. Better he is in the care of family than a stranger. Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave. Debbie J.

I was reading your profile page and was impressed by your statements as to hoarding of memorials. I have run in to a few too many of those that do. I commend you for your selfless attitude and your volunteer work!! I we hope you have a great week.

Nicholas, thank you for the beautiful photo of my great grandmother Helen and baby Mary Ellen Eaton's gravestones. My Grandfather registered Mary Ellen's birth, and named her when he was Watanwon County Commissioner and located her birth record.

Thanks so much for creating these memorials. I've sent in a few suggestions to link them. These folks aren't kin to me, but August & Marie's son, Gustave (1887-1966) married Selma Sens (1894-1984), a cousin of mine.

Sorry. I am not related. I just enjoy working memorials in the area I grew up in, and the linking of memorials that is possible.

I'm originally from Minnesota, the Selby and Snelling area. My mom still lives in White Bear Lake. My dad just passed in June. Glad to help!

Hopefully someone can take another picture of her stone and can read the dates. I live too far from that cemetery now. Maybe the cemetery manager will have the dates.
