William Russ Eldridge Stinson

You did the memorial for Mr. Stinson several years ago. Do you have any contact info for the family? I am working on a biography of Victor Young and he worked with Mr. Stinson in Paramount's music dept.

RE: Henry Duffy Pictures
I was happy to send you the revised book, Bob. Don't expect to find a lot of new information. Most of the changes were clarification of details along with the addition of the new pictures as well as adding about 100 new play titles in the appendix. Henry's daughter, Pat, had a treasure trove of pictures from the theatrical career of Henry and Dale (the new pictures in the book are from that collection). I digitized most of the collection and would be happy to provide you with the picture files on a thumb drive if you wish.

Justina "Tiny" Westberry Harper
I am a direct descendant of Tiny Westberry Harper. Unfortunately I know little about her and have only seen 2 pictures of her until I came across the photo associated with Lemuel Westberry.
Do you have additional photos of Tiny's family? I am especially interested in any that might include Nolan Harper. If so are you interested in sharing digital copies of these photo?
Thank you in advance for you consideration in this request and also thank you so much for sharing this treasure of a photo.

Ok, thanks for responding, i'll look into it through other sources to make sure but i think Mildred's is later, maybe 1903?

Ella and Mildred Carter
Hi, i have noticed that my grandmother shares the same year as Mildred on birth dates, and someone sent me a message telling me that one of them were wrong, funny thing is they put it where you send flowers and not in the messages, so which is the wrong dates on them?

Barbara L. Kirkland
Sampson Altman
I have no information that indicates the Sampson Altman you have linked to Cecelia Griffis as the one she was actually married to. I show a Sampson Altman married her on 5/2/1885 and they had two children--Emma E. and Ella J Altman Mikell #38751135 (whom I believe to be linked to the wrong father). If he was indeed married to her he was having children with the other wife--Lavenia "Beady" Lynn Altman whom he married 3/7/1881 and had children with her until about 1899.

I believe the Sampson Altman that Cecelia was married to was the son of Richard Altman and Elizabeth Strickland Altman. I show he was born about 1857 and died about 1894.

RE: Henry Duffy Follow-up

Over the past year I had moved on to other projects but then out of the blue I discovered that Henry and Dale Duffy's daughter Patricia was still alive and living in Santa Barbara. Sadly she is suffering from dementia but she had a storage shed filled with Duffy photos and theater memorabilia that I was able to obtain before it was trashed. I have spent the last year going through it and making enough changes to the book that I am seriously considering a second edition (although there was nothing that led me to change the Ann Nichols information).
Thank for your clarification on the mother of George Westberry. I had come across some information about a possible illegitimate birth in me own research but did not know how accurate it was so I stuck with James Hamilton Nicholas and Sarah Francis Hopps as George's parents. Will correct my family group. Was I correct that the other children belong to James and Sarah?

RE: Phillip Sowash
No problem! Just put in another photo request a month or two after he arrives at the cemetery. This will assure his marker is in place for the photo. Best Wishes!

Nanette Ann (Grand) Prevost
I am intrigued to find on the internet the mourning ring for Anne Marguerite (Grand) Prevost (1742-1809). She was my gggggrandmother!
I also note that it was auctioned in 2014 and was on ebay in January this year and has presumably been sold. Can you throw any light on its history, as you have put it on her Find-a-Grave site. Hope you can help.
Sir Christopher Prevost, Bt.

RE: Lucie Johns
Google "Bertha Johns" and look in Images. She, and even Lucie may be in one of those pictures, if the dates match up......
I'll keep watching & will let you know if I find anything definite.

RE: Lucie Johns
I'm sorry, I don't have a picture of her. But, I sure will help look for one. Maybe we can locate one thru one of her siblings. Also, we may can find a picture of her while she was married to Leggett or Johns. I don't think she had children with far as I know. I will keep you in mind, and let you know if I find something! Thanks for the transfer!

RE: William Carter
Hi, I will be happy to do it. Although it might be a couple of days as it has been raining a lot here. As much as it is over grown I would like to wait till it is dry. That way I can clean off before I take the picture. Have a great day!!!

RE: William Carter
Hi, Again. I have talked to a few people. They all believe William Carter is buried by his wife. There is a Concrete Slab beside her but with no name on it. They do not believe it is someone else. As it is to close to hers. If you would like I could take a picture.

You're welcome. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. If I ever do come across it, or more info regarding the plot is posted, and assuming no one else already fulfills it, I will certainly upload it.

RE: Joan Humphries
I admit its a first for me too! When I called the cemetery office about the meet up that is what I was told! We are still going as the cemetery is only 55% photographed and we will take the risk for those that may be searching! Definitely odd for sure! I will keep the list with me in case we come across it in our venture tomorrow!
All the Best!

Joan Humphries Request
I just wanted to let you know that the cemetery office will not allow photo volunteers to photograph markers, even for family members. If you would either call and get the plot info and update the request we can then fill it tomorrow when we are there for the Meet up. Or the office said they are willing to photograph markers for Family as well! Whichever you prefer! Hope this info is helpful! I will check the requests again before heading out to the cemetery tomorrow morning for the meetup!

Have a great day!
