RE: Alexander Hamilton
Linda,

Alexander Hamilton may be a son of my 6gguncle William Hamilton, son of Robert and Anne [Everard] Hamilton. I don't have the names of ANY of William's children.

Of the other Hamiltons - James, John, and William, may be children of my 6ggparents John and Tabitha [Thweatt] Hamilton.

James Thweat Hamilton, b 1771/72 in VA, d unknown, did not marry.

John Hamilton, b 1773 in VA, d 08 Dec 1807, may have been known as "Jack."

Major William Hamilton, b 11 May 1789, m Elizabeth Bryan, d 15 Aug 1870 in Minden, Webster, LA. (This information has not been verified.)

I know very little about that generation of Hamiltons. John and Tabitha moved their family to GA sometime before 1809. He died May 1818 (or Apr 1829) and she died before 19 Dec 1809, both in Hancock County, GA. Their daughter Frances "Fanny" (my 5ggmother), married Brigadier General David Blackshear on 02 Dec 1802 (record not found).

RE: Everard Hamilton
Hi Linda,

No, I didn't know that they were moved. Thank you for telling me. I'll add that to my notes.

If they were first buried in the Colonial Park Cemetery, there may be other members of my family buried in that cemetery. I looked on Find A Grave, and there is only one memorial: Alexander Hamilton, died 13 Aug 1814, age 25. I don't know who he is. Well, at least, not yet.

Thanks again for finding this out for me! :-)

RE: Marmaduke Hamilton
Linda, a memorial has already been set up for each of those, except Zoe, by a cousin of mine. She has pictures for each.

I just set up a memorial for
Zoe Decima Hamilton 84094832
I would appreciate it if you would add a photo of her gravestone. Thanks.

Two Johanna Von Bergen's
Linda - Please take a look at Johanna Von Bergen - #80037807 and Johanna Von Bergen Doane - #83117864. I'm pretty sure these are two different people - maybe mother and daughter. I think the picture you've posted for #80037807 is actually for #83117864. I'm not related and I might be wrong. But their dates are different.

thanks,
allie woodard
