Edward Gill Photo
Thank you so much for this memorial photo. Edward was my Irish immigrant ancestor, arrived in the US about 1850, married, had 4 children, went off to fight in the Civil War, and we have spent many hours researching him. This photo means so much to the family.

J. Kingen
Thanks for the photo. Not sure if this is my relative but the death date is about the same as when he disappeared from my research. Do you know the meaning of the M.M.B. on the marker?

Shirley Williams Rienecker
RE: James Perry Greathouse
He enlisted Jan 8, 1862, company D, Illinois 9th Infantry.
Mustered out July 21, 1865.
His dad was Major Greathouse, so he must have been in the Revolution or Indian War. However I have not found the proof yet.
Are you related?.

RE: Oak Lawn
I am not sure where it is. It may very well be the Oakland cemetary. I may just have the name wrong.
