|Peggy Bargen Duey||Eickmann family|
No, I am not related to the Eickmann family.The previous secretary asked that I add their cemetery to Find A Grave and since my husband has so many people buried in Chester Cemetery I agreed. My philosophy is "No One Should Be Forgotten".

Thanks for your respond. I love your Rootsweb tree. It is very helpful. I try to link family members on find a grave to make it easier to locate everbody in the family. I'm related to the Zugschwerdts, the Weidmans, and the Fulraths.

How do you get transfers from Wilton Golson? He has memorials of my direct ancestors and my grand aunt and uncle. It says he is inactive and I did ask his friend for transfers, but heard nothing from him.

Thank you for the information on Helen Rath. Do you want to manage her site? I will transfer her to you if you want me to. She is not related to me.

|Gina||Barbara & Helen Rath|
I am thinking that Barbara was probably a step-daughter, not daughter, as listed in Helen's obituary. I just put in information as is in obituaries, assuming the information is correct.
To unlink Barbara from Helen- you need to sent a correction from Barbara's site, so John Lartz can unlink then.
Sorry information I had was incorrect.

Alice what is your resource for northern ILL. My email is FamilyResearch54@aol.com. I am looking for an Alfred Sergant various spelling.

Herman Eickman's sister, Amelia D (Eichmann) Dilly, is my great grandmother X2. We made a trip to Illinois this past summer to research the line.
The Eickman line does have many spelling variations...can certainly understand the desire to change the name after WWII.
Do you have much on the Eichmann/Eickman line...haven't had much luck with pictures...
Thank you for the corrections...

|Couple of Gravers||Sarah Garver, mother of Mary Glessner|
I based my information on the 1925 Iowa census for Bruce Township, Benton County, which recorded the parents of those enumerated in it. It is not a foolproof census, as the names of parents are sometimes not known, or may even be in error. Unfortunately, there are often discrepancies between various records, as the human factor is always present. Perhaps the best course of action is to include all of the possibilities in the bio section.
I also noticed that I had erroneously linked Mary A. to both Joseph T. and Edward Joseph. The links have been corrected.
Thank you for your assistance.

|Tri-State Corners Genealogical Society||RE: Thanks So Much|
Catherine's stone was unusual in that it faces north where all the others seem to face west (some east). It happened to be next to one I had photographed earlier and I found myself returning to the same spot for hers. I'll ask someone who might have a list of most of those who came then. I thing he has done research into that group.

|Robert Lord||John L. Grimm|
All I know about John L Grimm is the inscription copied by Elizabeth Cass in the 1950's. The stone is now missing. I find no obit in local newspapers. I did add parents to his Find A Grave page. Thanks for the connection. Sorry I could not help.

|Allice Reynolds||RE: Jacob Grimm|
I have no idea why Grim(m) was spelled both ways. I do believe the original spelling was with one "M". My husband's branch added the 2nd to their spelling. I noticed the Samuel Grim - wife Elizabeth Unknown gravestone has only one "M". A family member back in the 1980s had the Jacob Grim - Margaret Geltmacher family bible and allowed my husband's Aunt to borrow it for a short time and this is where the our information on the family began. I am sorry I could not provide more insight. I look forward to seeing those obituaries, thank you for transcribing them. Allice Burns Reynolds
