RE: Santa Ana Cemetery Grave
Looks like that Billion Grave location was off a little. Can't trust them, but they are somewhat close. I think I might have seen you at the cemetery yesterday, driving a blue car by the IOOF Section. By the time I turned around, if that was you, you were already leaving the cemetery. Chris

RE: Santa Ana Cemetery Grave
You're welcome. Billion graves shows the grave in the southwest corner of Section G, perhaps along the south side road. A good place to start anyway. Sometimes I find there locations a little off. Chris

RE: Santa Ana Cemetery Grave
I found a photo of his headstone on Billion graves. From what I can gather by looking at where they have him placed, he is in G-57, but their locations are often way off. His stone was an upright one that has fallen down and is now laying in the ground like a headstone. It is white and broken in several pieces, but has been pieced together so it is legible. Not sure why he doesn't appear in the cemetery index, but he is buried at Santa Ana Cemetery. Hope this is helpful to you. Chris

Hello: While I appreciate your good intentions in putting the GPS coordinates of this grave on FindAGrave Memorial for George Montgomery, it is not the appropriate placement of this info to put in where flowers for the site are intended-it is also in violation of FindAGrave policy. Therefore please remove your GPS information and messages from this site. We welcome of course any flower you might choose to add.
Thank you. D. Montgomery

Elmer E. Evans GAR
Hello Charles Lewis Beal,

I have had no success finding information regarding John Kelso. However, if you look at a memorial I just created for Elmer E. Evans, you will see that he is a Civil War veteran. His memorial number is 146319780. Do you have a GAR record for him already?

John Kelso Civil War Vet?? FAG# 139441875
I was asked to have a look into our records at the Library in Pueblo where I volunteer in the Special Collections regarding your info on the above Find A Grave memorial page. We have a couple of volumes of GAR cards but unfortunately he is not listed in the volumes I checked his death notice and the GAR were in charge of his funeral. There was a separate notice asking members of the Butler & Upton Post of the GAR to attend his funeral.
He only appears in the 1904-1905 Pueblo City directory as his death date he is not listed in the year 1903-1904.
If I find any other info I will pass it on to you

Not a problem, just wanted you to know why I wasn't doing anything about it LOL I have photographed a lot of the graves in the Lone Pine and Big Pine cemeteries. You probably got my link from another memorial. All is good :)

I am confused as to why you sent this correction notice to me. A member named "Sharon" created the profile and uploaded the picture for William Sharp, not me. Perhaps if you go back to the memorial and click on her name, you can make the suggested corrections to her. I cannot edit a memorial I didn't create. Sorry.

RE: George Washington Rimel Photo
It is most likely a Confederate Veterans Reunion badge given out to Veterans at reunions, so those attending would know who was a Vet and who wasn't.

Thank you for your recognition of our vets. I recognized the photo of you by the Civil War Memorial at the Santa Ana Cemetery where my great grandfather, Robert Y Kennedy is buried. He was a Missouri Civil War vet.

RE: H. Fairbanks at Fairhaven Memorial Park
I have no further info, and am unlikely to find any. I suspect that there is/was more than one Harlan Fairbanks. Since you are much more likley to find additional info, would you be willing to accept the transfer of this memorial to you? You can then update or remove, if that is needed.
Best regards.

Dear Mr. Beal, Thank you for your research and for having the beautiful plaque placed on my great-great grandfather's grave. When I was a child, my parents would take me there on Memorial Day. Back then there was a large urn that simply had "Soule" on it but before my great aunt died, she had it removed (I don't know why). I have just sponsored the sight and would like to add the pictures and history to my family tree. I will credit you if you approve. Thank you. Jean Soule Marshall
