And thx for the kind words .... makes it all worth-while for me!!
(That marker, BTW, was almost fully cov'd with sand & dirt ... I keep a stiff brush in my car's trunk just for that!)

Glad to be able to help - I don't think vandalism is a real problem there - it would probably rank behind falling tree limbs, tree roots upsetting foundations, gophers & groundhogs, and just plain bad foundations that are affected by the freeze/thaw cycles over the many years. Sad condition, whatever the causes!

Hi. No I'm not related. I was scanning through the old newspapers and came across it and thought it was something special that should be seen. It fits perfect with the nice picture of him!

If you (or anyone else) ever want to have a headstone repaired or cleaned in Woodland Cemetery I can recommend an excellent restorationist. I also can recommend an excellent monument dealer (s) for headstones as well.

I uploaded the correct headstone for Sally and Daniel. Daniel is the upright and Sally is the broken headstone.

So glad it was a help - I was disappointed there weren't any dates for the children, but reminded myself that finding a legible stone was still a nice win! ;-)

It was a coincidence that I was able to fulfill your request. Since July that cemetery has been closed to Find A Grave. I just happen to have photographed a few sections before access was denied. I just check the requests from the sections I have photographed and fulfill as requested.

|Mary Ellen Moulton||RE: Manoah Scribner Grave Photo|
Glad to help. In honor of Raymond NH's 250 anniversary this year, I've been coordinating a cemetery project that catalogs all the stones in all the cemeteries in that town (updating the one done in 1980). I tried to link Manoah Scribner to his wife etc and the findagrave system was not working right. Further, since I'm not related, if you want me to transfer management for any of the others in that cemetery to you, just ask. All known burials for that cemetery are now posted.

Regarding your request for a photo for Frank Savo at Florida National Cemetery, there is only a temporary marker at this time. I will check when I go there again and replace the "temporary" with a photo of the "permanent" marker when available ..... Mike

I just posted the picture you requested for Marion/Miriam Hunt. She was buried next to a few other Hunts, so I also added those photos, if you're interested. (Emily Louise Hunt - 1947, Margaret Graham Hunt - 1923, and Margaret White Hunt - 1954)

I will try to visit the cemetery in the next year and if so I will try to take a photo of the general area where she would be buried. The cemetery's webpage has some photos as well as a map and burial records if you haven't seen it: http://www.saintmichaelscemetery.org/

I took my 82 year old mum from NJ to see the headstone of their daughter Eva (her beloved aunt) Simons and their son Herbert who my mum also knew well. I almost posted their stones, so adding this stone was nicely all in the family.
I live in Florida.

I was able to find a Fred C.(father) and a Frederika Dormann (the ONLY Dorman's in that cemetery) and there is also a Frederick (son) but there is NO infant Dorman where they are buried where the child where they are buried unfortuantely the stone either never existed or they were buried with their mother, or in an unmarked grave near the family.
but i have posted the ones i did locate and thank you because i had the utmost amazing time in that cemetery :)
