Dear Mr. Watkins:
Thank you for your Find A Grave contributions, and your photo volunteer.
Alas, no tombstone for Anna Marie & Mathias (Jr) Maisenbacher :( You saved me a trip from Illinois to Omaha Nebraska to look for their graves!
Over the 4th of July holiday, my mother and I went to Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield Illinois. We saw Margaret Meyers and Mathias (Sr.) Maisenbacher's tombstones.
Abraham Lincoln is also buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery!

In the 1960s I worked at the Orpheum Theater in Omaha. Used to visit with a nice cubby man who worked there as a projectionist. I remember he used to tell me stories of when he was in the Army he was with the group that searched and hunted the legendary Poncho Villa in Mexico. That projectionist was Ross Hatton. Thanks for getting a great photograph.

I have Oneida's death date as 1925, but this could be her gravestone, and I have faulty information. Could you go ahead and send me the picture, please?

Thanks for the information on the Omaha Obit "data base". I see the record you mentioned as well as a Frank Jr. I've requested both of those through the web site (fingers crossed).

Thanks for the recent post of "Frank Classen".
By any chance do you recall if there was a grave near by with the name "Edna Classen"?

Thank you VERY much. Is it possible to also photograph the other 3 gravesites in section 20 lot 240 for Antina Nelson and Ernest/Ellen Pollard?

Thanks for the photo of the gravesite and family marker. I'm assuming there is no specific marker for Abija then. Oh well, thanks for trying, I appreciate it!

Thank you for taking the time to go there. I knew they were there being My Parents and Grand Parents. I just wasn't close enough to take them. I don't know if you noticed the next marker to the right, that is mine, I just am not there yet. I have my brothers names also, but they will not be there, I just felt the need to keep all the family together. I was born and raised there. Went to North High graduated 1960. My 2 brothers live elsewhere also.

|Jean Jorgensen||RE:Danish Ancestors|
May we continue our conversation via e-mail? There are several possibilities for our interconnectedness. I have been compiling information, off and on for 12 years, for the Olsen family. There were 13 children in the family of Ole and Else Marie Kristensen, of Asdal, Hjorring, Denmark. Eleven of those children came to America in the mid to late 1800's and all but two settled in Nuckolls County, Nebr. We have relatives all over the county. In 2013, we held a family reunion for the descendants of Ole and Else Marie (back 4 generations). It was fun to hear people say, "I've known you my whole life and I never knew we were related." The family surnames for these include: Olsen, Olesen, Oleson, Knudsen, Johnson, Petersen, Fredriksen, Klitten, Jeppesen and Nielsen/Iversen.
Current generation surnames include: Petersen, Simonsen, Christensen, Larsen, Knudsen, Jorgensen, Wagensen, Andersen,... :-0
It would be fun to keep in contact with you.

What part of Denmark do the Olen(s), Petersen(s) and Fredriksen(s) come from?

|Jean Jorgensen||RE: Your bio|
OK, my curiosity is up. Is there a chance all these Danish surnames you mention had folks living in Nuckolls County, Nebraska?
