Thank you so much for taking this picture. Virginia was my daddy's older sister whom I never met. She moved away to Ca. before I was born. Your work has helped me to link my family. Thanks again. Nanette

RE: Corte Koethof
I copied the stone photo before I deleted it.

Usually when I have a difficult stone like that, I do the whole stone on each memorial from the Beta and then put close-ups manually. So when I delete the memorial with the whole stone, it deletes all the rest of the Beta entered photos of that photo (but leaves the icon there). If the close-up is still there, I'll leave it like that and just put the one I deleted back on the one without a photo.

I have deleted him/her. I hope that hasn't deleted the photos off the other people on the stone but I fear that it did.

Looks like when I did the beta entry, there was a glitch. Because now I have to re-enter the photo

Thank-you for the heads up
I've claimed the requests for both Dolphs. I've got a new volunteer who's never been to Mt Hope that probably be doing the requests so this will be a productive venture. I actually traveled to the east coast and did quite a few photos that I still need to upload so after these requests at Mt Hope I'll be back to my photos. Hope you're enjoying the summer!

I also took photos of the small stones behind the family stone - Bruce, George, Fred, Mother, Father. Would you like them posted to Find A Grave or would you like me to just send them to you personally via email. I don't think I can attach them here.

I went to the cemetery yesterday morning and was able to get a better photo with the sun on the stone for the three boys. I deleted the old photo and added the new one.

RE: Clara M. Wetmore, San Diego
D. Meserole

Thank you again for all your help. I've got a request into the San Diego Library for copies. I am so hoping this is "my" Clarissa as I've been a long time looking.

My eyes lit up when I saw the references to Galesburg, Illinois.

May your random acts of genealogy kindness be multiplied back to you.

Jesse Getchell
Thanks so much for the photo of the grave location of Jesse Getchell. It is a bookend to my study of Jesse Getchell who pioneered and lived in Minnesota for 50 years. When and where he died was a mystery until I found the obituary. Your photo is a nice companion to the other things I've found. I appreciate the work you do!

Clara M. Wetmore, San Diego
You left "flowers" for Clara M. Wetmore b 1822, NY; d 8/31/1894 in San Diego's Mount Hope. Clara M. is in the family plot of George H. and Mary A. [nee Ellis] Wetmore. Hopefully you will be able to confirm the family connections. Is this Clara M. Wetmore the wife of Gilbert M. Wetmore (the first cousin of George H.) who is buried in Girard Cemt., Crawford Co., KS? Can you verify the name as Clarissa M. [nee Douglass] Wetmore. I believe her father was Amos Douglass and mother was Lucy Parkhurst.

Thanks for the info - no explanation as to why they would post the same photo with no further new information. Oh, well. . .

My husband's aunt died 23 Dec 1961 in El Cajon, San Diego, CA - she never remarried. I was looking for her husband's stone - I have come to understand that there isn't one for him. Thank you for all of your assistance.
