I noticed your posting on Find A Grave regarding your tie to John Ford and Elizabeth Simpers.

I would like to include you in the "Simpers Genealogy Project". If interested, contact me directly at I am in the process of attempting to run out all the descendant of the female Simpers' lines.

I linked the correct ones, but can't unlink the wrong one since it was done bythat other person

Added by Kat on Jun 14, 2013 10:02 AM

Look at the link, there is an asterisk by it.This means it was linked by someone else, I can't control someone else doing a link to my file.
this is who linked it:
Created by: Cindy
Record added: Sep 01, 2012

she has to "un-link"
BTW when i added this file in 2006 we did not have linking.

I have been adding some memorials to Machpelah Cemetery and just a bit ago someone sent me an update and mentioned I might want to merge my memorial with another one already made for this gentleman. I just assumed they meant that I had duplicated the person already listed in the same cemetery. But then I checked the memorial # they gave me and I see that he is actually buried wherever you put him. Can't remember that right now. Anyhow, are there any burials in Machpelah? Am I wasting my time. I am hoping you understand my question. I found some PA Genealogical Magazines with the info that was being thrown away and thought I would share the info by making the memorials this way. So if you have any thoughts or advice on this, I would appreciate it. Maybe the Machpelah is no longer there, I don't know.

RE: Thanks for Elisha Jones
I am not finding an obituary for Andrew. Either there was never an obituary, or it ran in another paper. I'll let you know if I find anything else. Also feel free to send me any obituaries you may need from Baltimore.

RE: Thanks for Elisha Jones
I found Mary Ann's obituary too. Also one for the Andrew at that cemetery. I'll see what I can find about Andrew... who knows, I may have some luck. And I know what you mean about searching for Joneses. I have Butler and Jones lines.

Louis E Pierce
Hello Susan,

This is my first day on this web site. I actually found it by a friend on Facebook who posted the link.

Louise E Pierce and Martha Pierce (Siebert) were my Great Grandparents. I saw that you had posted the virtual flowers on his page, thank you that was very sweet.

I have also in the past 3 months been researching my family tree on If you have any information that would help me in my search it would be greatly appreciated, or would like information that I have found so far on this part of my family, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Added by Tanya Hladky on Jan 05, 2012 1:21 PM

Susan, I've found you because of the many 'Rumple' memorials you have posted, 'Thank you' for that. My great grandmother was Ella Ann Rumple (Find A Grave #17893045), she was great granddaughter to Johan Conrad Rumple of Heidelberg Twp, PA. I would be very interested in receiving any genealogical info you may have about this branch of the Rumples. I have only just started my search... My email contact is on my profile page. Kind regards, Barb L.
