RE: Mork monument at Beverly Cemetery
Thanks! Actually, Norman Mork's sister married a relative of mine, so they are not related. But if you want to transfer the memorials to me I will accept them. The Cherrie family must be relations of Mabel, as that was her maiden name (she remarried to Al Jenner after Norman Mork died). I imagine that Alma and Moses are Mabel's parents, and George is her brother, but I will research a little.

You can if you want. I am not related to the Tendalls, but had found Jacquelyn's death certificate while doing my daily edits, so I wanted to add that information to their memorials, although I have not been able to find the birth and death dates/places for her husband Clarence yet.

Ruth,
You will have to contact the people who put up the tombstones. None of the tombstones are mine.

Hi Ruth. I'm interested, but could you please provide some numbers, so I can find who you're talking about? And may I ask why you're contacting me? From which memorial did you find my name? Thanks.

I have never moved anyone before, I think the original submitter may have to do that. I will get on touch with them and see what we have to do.
Thank you again for all you do.

HI Ruth, I'm sure that by now you have the information for Bertie Byrd resting place. I just spoke to her daughter Sharon and she told me that Bertie is in Riverview Cemetery.
Thank you for all you do.

RE: Lewis family at Section Cemetery
Ole H. Lewis married my 4th great-aunt Isabelle Mabel Hougas*. They had 7 children (that I know of), and several died young. Unfortunately, none of them listed in my family tree died at 20 years of age.

However, Ole and Isabelle had a nephew Christian Lewis, who was born in 1852 and died in 1872. (I don't have the death date to see if it corresponds to your findings, though.) Interestingly, Christian was the son of William "Charles" Lewis and Elizabeth Betsy Hougas. I know for certain Elizabeth Betsy Hougas and Isabelle Mabel Hougas are sisters. I'm unsure if Ole H. Lewis and William "Charles" Lewis are brothers - but it's possible!

I would love to see pictures of the family, as I have none. Very little of my family's oral history was passed down in my line, so all I know is what I read and research. Any and all fragments of information are much appreciated!

*Isabelle is considered the third child of Norwegian decent born in the United States. I cannot confirm that information, but it is prominently displayed on her father's headstone in nearby Norway Cemetery.

This memorial came from a list of older obituaries that were donated to our genealogy library. This is all the information I have for her. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I have searched for my paternal father for 50+ years and know he served on the USS Nueces during the last part of WW2. I believe his middle name was Harold. He married my mother, May E. Walsh about 1943 or 1944 and they divorced about 1946. They were married in St. Louis Mo. moved to Pensacola, Fl. and then to Tulsa, Oklahoma.(I believe) (I was born on 9/12/1945) My grandparents adopted me in 1946 and I retained the Walsh name.
I would appreciate a response and any other information you might be able to provide. I am nearly 70 and figure this may be my last opportunity to connect with family I may have.
Thank you very much,
Michael J. Walsh
