RE: Zemple and Prill
That would be so nice of you but please don't do that until you are going to go there for other reasons than just my own. I am pretty sure they are Zemple too. I have a feeling a mistake was made someplace, by someone in the past and it was carried over to all other records. I am anxious to see what it is though. Thanks!

Zemple and Prill
Hung up! is a understatement on both of our sides. I could not find Bessie no matter how many searches i did after Leo died. She just fell off the face of the earth. Then thanks to you, you found all of them. i am thrilled! i have asked the person who has malvern to link him to his parents. i have a picture of leo, Bessie and Malvern. I am wondering what you think I should do about Leo's parents who I have as Zempel. Leave it or change it?

RE: Leo Zemple
I may have a answer to the mystery. I think the name may of the family may have been Zempel and somewhere along the line someone changed it. I still have ahard time pulling Leo up with anything but EL.

RE: Leo Zemple
Oh I just now saw that Malvern is the one not Keith. I am thrilled. I found Keith already on findagrave so I bet Malvern is too. thanks so much for all you are doing.

RE: Leo Zemple
I am thrilled that you found this. I am stumped even more now though. His dad died in 1914. that is about a 7 or 8 years difference in other records. All the articles I have in the scrapbook are no later than 1920 and only have a few of those. All the records I find on him show he married in 1912 and died in 1914.

RE: Waupaca
You are spelling LE and it is spelled EL. That might be why you are having a problem. I just now found a census that they spelled it LE but i am sure the correct spelling is EL as everthing I find on the internet leads right to Leo. This one is certainly a tough one. i am really trying to figure what happened to his Wife, Bessie Prill. I find everything for her family except her after his death. if I find her, I hope to find Leo's son too. Thanks so much for all this effort.

I am thrilled to have actually found someone from Waupaca. I am totally in love with Waupaca and had never heard of it before I bought a huge old scrapbook from there. This scrapbook is totally devoted to the people of Waupaca, even ones who left there. He/she cut out newspaper articles from the Waupaca newspaper and kept a detailed record from the 1910's. I am researching everything. This book is so large and heavy and not a inch of it has a space. he filled all of it. It is like a old fabric or carpet sample book. When I sit with it in my lap, it goes from my lap down to almost my feet. I have many people to findagrave from it. I hope I can ask you many questions about Waupaca.

Zempel and Prill
I was wondering if you can help me some more please. I am trying to find out more about Leo Arthur Zempel. He died in 1914 from lightning strike and he was married to Bessie Prill on Feb. 1912. Now, I would like to find their son. he had to be a infant so I speculate around 1913 is his birth. Could be a year off either way though. In the newspaper article he was mentioned but not his name. I can not find anything on his wife in the census as the only census is 1910 and they were not married then and of course after that he was dead. Totally stumped. i have researched her family also but nothing at all after 1910. I would love to have pictures of their burials for sure. Where do I go from here?

I know my boyfriend's mother did. If you'd like I can ask her about her. :)

Moo, Esq.
Hi, Linda Lightfuss is my boyfriend's cousin (once removed). If you would like a transfer I can do that, I just wanted to claim her if nobody wanted it. Thanks for the pictures, by the way, much appreciated!

RE: Thomas Morton
I requested the photo for my sister as she had exceeded her limit. I know nothing about it. I would suggest you ask her as she posted the obituary.
Thanks Thelma

RE: Leo Zepel - Little Wolf Cemetery
I got this information from the old obituary in the newspaper when he died so I am pretty sure I have all the information correct. I wish we could have found him but this probably isn't him. Thanks for your efforts though

Jerome Simonis
Thanks a million for the wonderful picture of Jerome "Jerry" Simonis' headstone. I thought his wife might be buried by him but you confirmed that with the picture. THANKS

Would you mind adding the picture to his wife's memorial? Theresa Martha Dulak Simonis 111370199. I was able to add her memorial after you added the picture.

Again, thanks!

Miller Family
RE: Augusta Miller
Thanks for checking on that, it has been a real challenge. What you have found is his 2 year od daughter Augusta who apparently drowned in 1900. She was the last child of August and Henrietta .

August the father died just three years later ( apparently 1903 ) and oral family history has suggested that he wanted to be buried near his little daughter in Little creek cemetery ( the rest of the family is all buried in BIg Falls cemetery ) . The problem is that he isn't listed anywhere. This summer I will try again, but he has been tough to find. I wonder if he is buried next to her in an unmarked grave

Louise Ostrenga
Hi Steph - I recognize the photographs you posted of Louise Ostrenga - she was my Great-Grandmother too. I recall visiting her in that old stone house a few times when I was very young. I remember she always had a jar of windmill cookies on hand and had a rubber chicken hanging in her kitchen! My father is Ronald Kuhn and my grandmother is Julia (Ostrenga) Kuhn.

Thanks for the additional information about the people buried in Sadie's plot. I'll have to investigate the infant daughter a little further.

RE: Sadie Lindsay
Hi Steph,

I'm specifically interested in Sadie Lindsay, born 1880, died 1916, but am also looking for her husband Arthur Lindsay. Her Arthur was born in 1875 and died in 1951. I have not confirmed that Arthur is buried near her, or even at the same cemetery.

I would be grateful just to have a headstone photo for Sadie. Don't worry about any other Lindsays, except her husband.

Thanks so much for your time!

Best wishes,
