RE: Susannah L. Hampton
I got a lot of the information from Doris Anne McCall Herbst who is my 2nd cousin 2 times removed.
She is daughter of Van Roy McCall and Cora Lee Harrison. Cora Lee is daughter of Marcus Gould Harrison and Carolyn Cagle, my 2nd Great Grand Aunt. Carolyn is daughter of John Cagle and Annie Catherine Halcomb.

Another cousin Gwen Calloway Treece, daughter of Raymond Lee Calloway and Carrie Louise Rodgers. Carrie is daughter of Stephen Secklar Rodgers and Gwendolyn Penelope Harrison. Gwen being daughter of Marcus Gould Harrison and Carolyn Cagle. Gwen Calloway Treece is my 3rd cousin 1 time removed.

Together they had, tracked down, knew, found all the information I have posted. I believe it to be 99% accurate. Nothing is 100% that far back.

My email is Please email me as I would love to learn where you fit into my line.

RE: Howard Grady McCallum

Thank you for transferring my wife's father to our care. It's wonderful to meet members who are happy and willing to transfer memorials to family members.

Blessings to you.

Suzzette G Yandle
RE: William M. Yandell, Jr.
My husband was a Yandle, descendant of Charles Lester Yandle of Union County, NC and Charles' wife Mary Magdalene nee Tartt. I have researched the Yandle / Yandell, etc family for many years. It seems all Yandles, with any spelling, are kin if the family was in America by the early 1800's. With all the research that I have done, I still have not been able to go over the ocean to the country of origin. It is believed the family was of Welsh origin. I think some of the problem with finding records could be because of a spelling variation of the surname that may been "strange" to us if it was Welsh. I did my husband's DNA for "place of origin" before he died in Jan 2013. The results for his DNA through was 98% British Isles. No surprise there. But it gives me a good feeling to know I'm going in the right direction for his origin. Suzzette

RE: Robert McFadden
Hi Amy,

Yes, He is my maternal grandfather's uncle. The only photograph that I have of him is one that was taken with the whole family. It' s not a close up shot of him nor is it very clear but I do plan to post it at a later time when I can do some editing and try to identify as many family members as possible. I will ask some of my relatives if they have any photos of him and if so, I will certainly post them. The memorial project sounds very interesting and I would like to know more about it if you would like to share any info. The photos that you posted of him are wonderful and thank you for your contributions to his memorial.

RE: Ora Warmouth / Warmoth
I do not know for sure because I did not know her.
Her husband James Randolph is buried in Laurelwood Cemetery in Rock Hill and his Grave spelling is Warmoth. Her daughter Lillian Spelled it Warmoth. She married Robert Clayton Casebolt. Lillian is also buried at Calvary. The Find a Grave record does not show a photo, but it has Lillian Warmouth listed as her name.

I know for a fact that the correct spelling is Warmoth because my Mother's maiden name is Warmoth.
She and James Randolph are ist cousins.

RE: William M. Yandell, Jr.
Glad I could help. More research needs to be done to confirm Myers as the middle name. Since I have been doing a good deal of newspaper research lately, I have found the newspaper write-ups have lots of errors in them.

My husband, now deceased, belonged to the Sherrod/Sherred Yandle line in Union County, NC.

Have a great week-end. Suzzette

RE: William Olin Cook
HELLO. Yes I am Lonnie Cook's daughter Rosemarie. I knew Jean. She was so pretty. I talked with Uncle Alden's daughter Eloise a couple of nights ago. We just don't seem to stay in touch. Thanks for doing such a good job on The Find A Grave. I am really interested and we are doing a lot of ancestor research for the Cooks & Voyles families. Click on some of the links under Uncle Olin's parents and I have completed some of the relatives. If I can do anything to help, let me know. I am working on Uncle Alden's side for the grave sites.

James Holden
I am wondering if you are related to James Holden, born July 19, 1946 and died March 3, 1973 in Richmond, VA. He is buried at this cemetery.

RE: Levi Roden Wilkes
Levi is buried at Woodward Baptist Church. As you can see by the church photos of Woodward and Armenia Baptist, the pic is the same for both churches (the pic is actually of Woodward). I placed the pics of Levi's tombstone on both memorials because I want anyone searching for Levi to have copy of it and until one of the two people who created the two memorials deletes their duplicate, I will leave it there for that purpose. I requested the removal of the duplicate with no luck.

I keep trying to get Watus connected to her, but it keeps telling me he is already connected. Could be the son they are talking about. I have tried to link him to her, and her to him. Same answer.
