Your idea would wipe-out the headstone photo and flowers that are in place.

The next time you would like a transfer of a memorial: click on the edit button for that memorial. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition" and in the box that comes up, explain what your connection is to that person and give them your contributor number. I copied your contributor number into my transfer box and it went through. Transfers will go a lot easier if you follow the way I suggested.

You could have gone to the edit button on her memorial and asked for the transfer, which I would gladly have done. You still may if you wish since Find A Grave frowns on making duplicate memorials.

RE: Joseph Calvin HIcks - Indian
I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to respond to your Find A Grave message on the Joseph Hicks memorial. As I stated on the memorial bio the information was taken from the Morgan County Cemeteries Book II and needs confirmation. I am not related to or have done any research on Joseph Hicks and only submitted the information based on what was in the Cemeteries Book.

Hi Wade
I may be a distant cousin as well.
I would love to share more information with you and see what you have found in terms of Richard Hicks and his wife Rebecca parents of William L, Eddie and Josiah. Do any of those names sound familiar to you

Thanks, Betty!!! It appears that John Albert Lowrey married Julia Williamson on Dec. 31, 1876 in Kernersville, NC. I have added this information to John's Find A Grave memorial. I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Do you have any idea where Julia is buried? I can't find her.

Wade, I'm not sure which Samuel Vance you are talking about. Can you tell me the cemetery, so I can look it up?

Hi Betty,
You and I exchanged information about a year ago. You were so kind to share photos with me as well as the inventory of Isabel Lowrey's estate and other documents. I'm afraid that I haven't come across anything new since the last time we spoke. You are always welcome to use any photos or info that I have posted on Find A Grave.

Hi Wade,
Yes, I would say that you definitely have some tangled branches in your family tree! If you see any mistakes on any of my Lowrey memorials, I would really appreciate it if you would let me know. I try very hard to be accurate.

Robert Wray
You say Andrew is his father.
I think his parents may be Robert and Mary Wray who are buried at Haw River Presbyterian Cemetery in Reidsville, Rockingham County, N.C.
This Robert died in 1830 and Mary died in 1835.
They both have tombstones.
What do you think?

RE: The Wray Family
thank you.
see if i have it right now.
Who was the Robert Wray that had land in Rockingham County, N.C. see below:
ames Martin had land in 1784 between Robert Wray and John Hodge near Troublesome Creek in Rockingham County, N.C.
On Feb 12, 1781, Tarleton, a British officer, camped on Ironworks Rd. just south of the Martins' and Wrays' properties
That is why I thought this Robert Wray was Robert Wray's father.

RE: Esign Daniel Davidson

My mother was a Davidson (1927-1999) and our ancestor Daniel was the 10th and last child of Samuel and Elizabeth Callahan. From what I know Silas and Samuel were half brothers. I see Samuel listed on the 1840 census in KY, but do not know when he first went further west. He may have ventured out and came back several times before moving permanently. I appreciate your interest.

I know how that goes. My mom was a Hull from Walkertown but they originally moved from Guilford County. I was raised as a Baptist but when I started looking for family I have found most of them buried in Methodist church cemeteries. My mom's parents and grandparents are buried at Love's and her great grandparents are buried in Piney Grove Methodist Church cemetery along with some other Hulls that May or may not be related. But sure is interesting to look.

I married James Lindley Walker son of Harvey Walker of Greensboro, NC and I don't have much info on his family as Jim passed away of heart problems just 2 days after our second year of marriage in Sept 1993.

I transfered everyone in the cemetery, is that what you wanted. I even transfered the Maudie Human, I am just guessing she is related somehow. Enjoy lol.
