You have incorrectly indicated that her name was Elizabeth "Nancy" Harrison Barnes.

Her name was Nancy. Elizabeth was her sister.

RE: Henry + Laura Gebert
No problem-o senorita. :-]
They are in graves 1 and 2. In that same Lot there is a Peter Long 1905-1984 in grave 3 buried on one side of them. I don't suppose he is related?? Next to Peter still in that same Lot in grave 4 is a Roma Dobson 1934-1979.
On the other side of Henry and Laura, in the same row is an Elsie Thayer 1892-1979. Elsie's son possibly is in the next row up. Owen Thayer 1911-1986.
There is also a couple nearby Eugene and Edna Barrow. And a George Chandler 1845-1934. I don't reckon any of them are related. Thought I would mention it in case you might know.
It is quite unusual to see somebody who died in 1934 be buried in this section. This is not an old section. It is a newer section. He may have been moved here for some reason.

James Howell
RE: William Clark + Heseltine Howell
Sandy that is a logical question. William Clark and Heseltine are definitely buried in Jefferson Wisconsin.
Lucy May Howell, one of their children married Tyndall Fay and they lived in Jefferson Wisconsin. My guess is that a bond was formed with other members of the family and they formed a family plot in Jefferson.
Mary Cynthia Howell, my great Aunt who I knew very well, lived a good part of her life in Eldon, Missouri is also buried there.
I hope this answers your question.
Kind Regards

RE: Miriam S Gebert
Hi again,
I did it. I found a funeral notice and obit for Henry Gebert. He is buried in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery here in Portland. I can email you the notices if you like. They are full pages of the paper in pdf format and the obit and funeral notice are on the pages.

RE: Miriam S Gebert
You're welcome. I have been adding people in that cemetery to Find A Grave. I saw that you added the other two so figured you would probably like having Miriam.
I am glad she is in good hands.
Oh, heah. I just remembered. When I was working on that ealier today I noticed that Miriam had a brother Henry Gebert. He is in the OR death index but not in the Canby Cemetery index. If I track him down I will ship him out to you too. :-]
Or, I could tell you where he's buried and you could make his page if you like.

RE: Augustus Binninger
Hi Sandy,

I was asking if you wanted me to post the Binninger plot photo. I couldn't find a marker for Augustus.
Some people want it, some don't. Let me know. Thanks.

I have no personal knowledge and no relationship with this memorial. It was entered from county records like 99% of the memorials I enter. I only create memorials to help other researchers. Sorry I can't be on more help. I suggest you contact either the cemetery itself or the county clerk.

Hi Sandy
Thank you for your kind words and also for posting Lt Post's story on Findagrave. Small typo in the text - it should read both pilots bailed out. Hope it is no trouble to correct. Thank you also for what you are doing to keep alive the memory of our hero's who gave their all.

RE: Arthur Henning photo
Hi Sandy,
I thought there was something different about the marker at the time I took the picture. Lucille's name looks like Iva Lucille maybe. Also, Arthur's name looks like Arthur Peck? The dates matched for Arthur. I wondered at the time if this was the correct grave due to the names or if the request did not have the complete names.

RE: Emma MacIntyre
Yeah, it is getting harder for me to keep track of who has sent the changes. The newer "Edit" system is difficult to scroll through to find what you're looking for. It would be nice if you could do a name search in your "Edits". As of right now, and since the new system went into place, I have over 4,000 edits that I have "accepted". Try scrolling through that many! It is very tedious!

In the olden days, I would keep my "Edit" e-mails in a folder, and I could search them by name and voila! I could see a list of edits that were sent to me. So I do still keep the old ones. I was sent the mother link and a list of Emma's family members by the contributor named Shirley Williams Rienecker. I don't usually copy and past census data, though, because I don't like how it looks and it might not be accurate.

Anyway, happy graving!

Maybe not . . .
. . . I looked at a message someone sent me that had Ancestry information, and William was not listed as a sibling. So maybe someone just sent that to me in error and I forgot to look at the dates. That can happen if I'm up too late at night working on this!

Thanks for the information.
