RE: Martha Guy Photo
Thanks for asking. I would appreciate giving credit to me as the picture taker.

Where is the picture located? I may have the original which may be better.

What is your Guy Line? I am interested.

RE: Martin Cemetery
Yes it is a fairly large cemetery, an old cemetery that is not maintained and has a lot of marked graves, probably a lot of the markers have fallen. Some may have been damaged by fallen trees during the recent tornado. If you want to go, let me know (just not in the next couple of days, let's wait til it warms up). Steve

RE: Martin Cemetery
The last time I was there was about 30 years ago, before I got the genealogy bug. It has been pretty well documented and photographed, so I have not visited it. It is very easy to find, we can go whenever you want. The only problem is a tornado went through there a couple of years ago, might have some downed trees. Steve

John Bennett Harrell
RE: Harrell Family of Pickens County, Alabama
The Harrell family I am linked to comes out of central Georgia. The Rickmans and Dowdles are the only ones that I'm aware of that I'm kin to from the Pickens Co area. In my genealogical searches, I've yet to find a Harrell I'm related to any where in MS.

RE: Emails
Do you think the Wilson Cemetery is in the general area of the grist mill? I know some people who live in the area, I'll see what I can find out. Steve

William, he was m. to Sarah Eleanor Yarborough and they had, I believe, 3 children. A good friend (and cousin) of mine is a descendant of one of their daughters.

Rebun Pyles Barmore/Mullins
William, I know I told you awhile back that your Mr. Barmore was not buried at Mullins/Mathis Cemetery, but futher research has shown that he is indeed in this cemetery. I told you awhile back that it showed that he was buried in "Ballard Hill" cemetery in Webster Co. Well, come to find out Mullins/Mathis/Ballard are all one in the same. We are in the process of trying to get Find A Grave to delete the Ballard Hill site. If you would like to add Mr. Barmore back to Mullins I have a photo of the spot next to a Mr. Daniel where he is suppose to be buried with only a native stone. I know Mr. Barmore is getting tired of being moved around so much but hopefully he is now where he is suppose to be..........God Bless, Pam and Teresa

RE: Directions to Pigeon Roost Cemetery
I don't know where Mr. Booth lives but I do know that the road the cemetery is on, is directly across the road where Howard Shurden's daughter lives. I think it is the very next house after you pass his. There is a little pull off road there, you have to park there and walk. If you walk to the left and back some you will see an old house. From the east side of the house walk straight back. It wasn't very far at all. There is a pink ribbon hanging on a tree and the stones are leaning against a cluster of small trees right there. Teresa is better at directions and distances than I am. She also did the GPS for the spot and it is on the cemetery page.
