|Ed & Joyce Abney||RE: Johnsons|
I have seen talked to the First Lutheran Church in Dundee and they assured me that the following family members are buried there, would it be possible for you to get the photos if you live nearby?
Their names are:
Clarence R Johnson B 1913, D 1958
Hazel L Johnson B 1917, D 1973
Richard Arlen or Arlan Johnson G 1941 or 1944 D 1954. According to Norma Miller in Fulda ( a sister of Hazel) confirmed they are buried there along with numerous family members. I would greatly appreciate that if you can.

|Christina||Photo Request in Oakland Cemetery|
I would be glad to fulfill your photo request for Oakland Cemetery, however it would be helpful if you could contact them and get the plot location for the De Smidts and let me know the location. Because there are so many requests for this cemetery, I cannot obtain all of the locations. They are very helpful, and if you cannot call long distance, you can email Bob for the info.

|M Arvidson||St Joseph-James Furst|
Hi Judy-I've posted the pictures for James Furst which you requested. This is a two-sided stone. On the front is James W Furst (1938-2004) and Virginia B Furst (1916-2009). On the reverse are William E Furst (1888-1960) and Helen A Furst (1890-1987). If you add memorial pages for Virginia, William and Helen, let me know and I'll post pictures there too.

I've updated Chester's Find A Grave memorial adding some information I located on Ancestry.com and familysearch.com. Most of the newspaper information I can find for Eau Claire on-line via ancestry.com and newspaperarchives.com (both paid for subscriptions) do not have anything in the 1950's for articles on Chester's death. You may be able to contact LE Phillips Public library in EC for other newspaper obituary information. Good luck.

I just saw your post on my page. I am sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, I have been dealing with family issues. If you would be so kind as to resend your request to firstname.lastname@example.org or thru the website I would be happy to transfer your request.

|Dennis Harmsen||User Died|
Judy, Can you help me with a problem? A user on this site with the name "steamerfan" has passed away. I would like to have two memorials for Arthur and Agnes Graf transferred to me. How can this be done? I have click on the "Edit" tab and made requests, but I don't think that request is going anywhere. I have email Find-A-Grave before about abandoned memorials and I get the response that I should use the "Edit" tab. If you are unable to give advice, I just might email Find-A-Grave again to complain, for I don't understand where they are coming from or why they don't seem to understand the problems on this web site. These are not the only two I have had problems with. Other people in the pass have told me to use the Find A Grave email, so why don't they do something if users are emailing them to bring items to their attention? Thank you.
My two memorials are:
66347353 and 66347373

Not sitting there, but close enough. I have photographed the entire cemetery but still have many to post. Now that it is cold here, I will be getting them done soon. I'm glad I am able to help out.

|Kathy Ripke||Idalynn Ferguson|
Thank you for making the additions and links for this person. Sadly, I do not have a known burial place for her husband. He is still in Mandan, ND, in the 1940 Federal census, and he dies in Minot, ND in 1979 (from Soc. Sec. records) but that is all I know at this point. Thank you for asking. And for your help with Idalynne's memorial.

|Richard Strunk||Robert Roepke|
I have found the grave of Robert Roepke and have a photo of it which I will post when I return to Virginia.
I contacted Robert's widow, Ann and spoke with her. If you need/want additional information about the family she told me she would be willing to talk to you via telephone. I have her contact information if you would like it.
She referred me to another lady, Carolyn Roepke, who along with another family member (but I didn't get the other person's name) would helped her in compiling a family history, both text and photos that goes back 3 to 5 generations.
Each generation has a group photo and is then broken down into individual family, and/or individual family members, photos. She indicated to me that she would also be willing to talk to you. I have her contact information as well. She told me that all the Roepkes in the Saint Marks Cemetary are/were related.
I have photos of all the burial sites in the cemetary for the Roepke families.
All the photos will be posted when I return to Virginis in 2 to 4 weeks.
I hope this information is still needed.

|Dwayne Fink||Alois and Mary Fried|
Alois and Mary were married. Is it possible that their graves are on the same plot? They had two children who had died by 1900 Census. Could they be buried on same plot?
Son Henry J had probably died by 1910. You did not list him in Saint Gabriel Cem. Maybe elsewhere nearby?

|Dwayne Fink||Alois and Mary Fried|
Alois and Mary Fried are both buried in Saint Gabriel Cemetery. I am researching a married couple with these two names, but am having difficulty tieing them together at the end of their lives.
Is it possible that your two Frieds were buried in the same lot, or at least next to each other?
Alois: 102136380 and Mary: 102136446.
The son I am looking for is Henry J Fried. He is not listed in Find A Grave for Saint Gabriel Cem.

|Linda Hahn||RE: Nelson|
I have decided to delete my site. Mine is a duplicate, since your site was up first. You just were in the wrong cemetery. :) Her plot is: CCS2_M_6_8 I like the fact that you have added the obituary.
I have been having a difficult time with the lady who sets up sites here and then won't transfer family members. That is the reason why I set up sites for the Nelsons and continue to conduct research with my Mom-in-law and husband.
We spent @ 5 hours on Saturday taking photos but I checked and we missed Sophran & Lee's. Maybe next trip...
Added by Linda Hahn on Apr 22, 2013 9:08 AM
I prefer to keep Sophran. My husband's mother's maiden name was Nelson. I may have her gravestone photo from Saturday. I have not uploaded them all yet.

|Judith Cartwright Morris||ROBERT LELAND WOLFE|
Robert Leland Wolfe (1927-1981) was the son of Ralph Leslie Wolfe (1900-1953) and Matilda Ann Bosma. Ralph can also be found at Find a Grave, buried in Austin, Travis, Texas in Austin Memorial Park Cemetery ... the stone shows a place reserved for his wife at the time of his death, who reached her 100th birthday 2/6/13.

It was my pleasure to sponsor by father-in-law, Emil. I only knew him for about seven years. I will always remember how he enjoyed Sunday Dinners, and the Holidays with his children.
Unfortunately, I have no other information on Emil's siblings and parents. Sorry, I can't help you there.

|S R Allen||Nathaniel Rogers|
Nathaniel Rogers was born 2-14-1846 in Brownville, Jefferson Co., NY to Stephen Rogers and Olive (Plumb) Rogers (#102459201). His mother is buried in Grandview cemetery in Fayette, Fayette Co., IA - her memorial is in parenthesis. He married Elmina Slaughter on 9-2-1870 in Fayette Co., IA.
His father, Stephen, was born about 1818 in Hoosick, Rensselaer Co., NY and died 1-12-1888 in a blizzard near Parsons, Aurora Co., SD. There is no burial for him.
Could you connect him to his mother?

How do you obtain cemetery books? I have seen a few people reference them but I've never been able to successfully locate any.

|Sheena||Prairie Hill Cemetery|
I am curious about the cemetery as I have family buried here ... I have Ernest Christian Kuehl, William J. Kuehl, William Julius and Margaretha (nee Whit) Kuehl. I'm curious if William's wife Lisetta Mary (nee Eigenberg) or Ernest Christian's wife Mary Jane (nee Berg) are buried with their husbands? I don't see memorials for them but I wasn't sure if there were stones that weren't legible or if you were perhaps in the middle of uploading more pictures.
Thanks for your help!!
