RE: Jennie Elwell
A friend and I have been trying to put together a book on everyone buried in the Lincoln Township Cemetery where Jennie is buried. We started out trying to find an obit for everyone. So many didn't have obits in the local newspaper, so we branched out further trying to find other information.

Thanks for your reply back with a positive comment!! Blessings, Barb

Jennie Elwell
Carl ~ I believe I have correctly linked Jennie to her mother and father, William and Rosina Elwell in the Oakwood Cemetery in Miami County, KS. Let me know if you agree with this link. Thank You! Barb

Donna White
RE: Viola Graves
Carl, Was she ever married to another husband with kids? She could be buried with the first husband under that surname, even though the death records are in another surname. donna

Mary Susan Rose Brown
Born 25 Feb 1864 in Lawrence Co., OH, Died 24 Feb 1916 in Coal Twp., Jackson Co., OH; You have listed her death date as unknown. I found her death certificate; the information on the death certificate was provided by her son Clyde E. Rose.

RE: Viola Graves
You could try calling the funeral home and ask them if she was buried at Floral Hills or not...or cremated..You can also do a "view only" of her death certificate downtown Columbus, Ohio at vital statistics to see that information.donna

RE: Lillian Terry Tressell
we also found a memorial page for Dora B Terry Curtis and her husband Henry. They are buried at Highland Lawn Cemetery in Terre Haute, Indiana. We aren't trying to step on any toes but were just trying to help you locate some of your unknowns. We think that America Terry may be at Ladoga Cemetery and will try to locate her stone if possible..

Lillian Terry Tressell
There is a memorial page for her at Ladoga Cemetery (Indiana). We posted a pic of her stone on that memorial. She is buried with her first husband James Edward Brumfield and a son Frederic Brumfield. If you would like us to add the pic of her stone to your memorial page we would be glad to, just let us know. Thank you

Hi,

Michael's mother Laura was married to my father back in the 70's. They eventually divorced. I do not know Michael but his sister Ginger I do know. I will gather what info I have and email it to you if you give me an address.

Thomas Willems (1723? - ??)
Hi Carl

Me again..

My only comment here is your use of the word "Germany". there was no such place at that time.

From my notes:

His surname was "Willems" He came to America from the European Rhineland area of Alsace with his father via the ship Harle from Amsterdam, landing in Philadelphia in 1736. He settled in an area of old Northampton County in Pennsylvania. His residence may have been in or near Whitehall Township (part of present-day Lehigh County) for his son Daniel was baptized in 1749 at the Jordan Lutheran Church located there.
