|Kenneth Craven||Andrew Father|
Andrew's father was Ninian Hamilton and mother was Sarah Woods from St. Louis . Ninian was born in Scotland and came to USA before the Revolutionary war, in which he served as Captain of a company. After the close of the struggle he located in Kentucky where Andrew was born. He married Sarah in 1802 and died in 1845. Sarah died in 1870 and they had 15 children. Elizabeth Schillings a native of Germany came to America at the age of twelve. From old family papers just found. Ken Craven

Thank you for transferring those two to me. Even though he is my ex-husband and she is my ex-mother-in-law, they are special people to me. I want to be there for them in death.

The marker stone is in sad condition for its age; I am not happy with the picture quality. I posted both a color and b&w photo: please let me if you want either one or both removed. Sorry.

|Kenneth Craven||Hamilton burials at Bagdad|
Sue: We are having a map made of all the burials at Bagdad Cemetery in Leander. They are including all spaces both empty and buried. I will be sending you edits on new location numbers for our Hamilton family counting the unfilled spaces. Please excuse the confusion but we are trying to show locations for every burial. Ken Craven

|Terry Goodwin||RE: Polly Holt|
My wife and I were unable to read the complete inscription, partly due to the blackening of the marble, partly the slight deterioration, and partly the low winter light angle. I will try to get a better shot in the spring.
Added by Terry Goodwin on Jan 29, 2014 6:21 PM
I did not know if you knew that there is new edit feature.
Up next to the share button there is an EDIT tab. If you click on that you can make most edits. Then the memorial manager is just have to accept or decline the edit and not have to do anything else.
It is a very easy way to make name and date corrections and it is MUCH faster.

|Skipper||RE: Samuel W Caldwell|
We took some pictures of his wife's but they came out blurry. If I can get a better one of the whole I will change it out. Several pics we took that day came out blurry for some reason plus the sun went down before we finished so we are needing to go back out there.

|Ann Walker||Your Photo Request for James A. Johnston|
We searched Emerald Hills Cemetery for your photo request for James A. Johnston. We were able to locate a James A. Johnston (and did photograph the gravesite) however the dates are not as you have specified. The James A. Johnston that we photographed has dates of 1928 - 1976 and he served in Korea in the U.S. Army. Is it possible this is the Johnston you were looking for or is there another James A. Johnston in Emerald Hills Cemetery? We are happy to forward to photo to you, but didn't want to send you the wrong gravesite if you were absolutely sure of your dates. Please let me know either way. Thanks so much!

|Maria Russell||RE: Pearsall Cem, for Vera Barnhart|
I have take the headstone photo of Vera. I have also took the other three Barnharts that are next to her. It seems that she was a Yancey and there is a gravestone behind the Barnharts.
If you remind me, I can go see when she gets the headstone.
