alfred vs. albert morris
Albert Morris 50070761 is buried in plot number 1-24-4-4. There is however a "Fred" Morris 133766924
buried in plot 2-24-2-14. Fred is just a bit south of Albert in the next section down.

RE: George Ball
Yes, George Ball's duplicated memorial plopped in the wrong cemetery was deleted.

...along with the other 4 others she had done in the wrong cemetery, 3 duplicated Famous memorials, and a dozen intentional duplicated memorials. She had only made a total of 27 memorials and as you can see, most were against the guidelines.

The situation has been resolved. Thanks for replying.

Calmly Searching
RE: Elsie Sanderfer Staatz
Hello Peggy,
I just heard back from Greenmount Cemetery in Durango, Colorado.
Elsie is buried here. However, I think if you were to mention in her bio or somewhere on her memorial her actual burial took place in Colorado, (evidently someone (family)? wanted her next to her first husband, Sanderfer, it would be ok to leave it). Not sure how to do this, could contact Find a Grave, or wait till someone complains??
Perhaps she was cremated and the ashes devided? Or maybe the family hoped to honor her there. Did you try contacting Blue Mountain Cemetery?
Sorry I could not be of more help.
Phyllis

Calmly Searching
RE: Elsie Sanderfer Staatz
Hi Peggy,

I believe yours is probably the correct memorial. I tried to get ahold of the cemetery in Durango today, however they did not return the call.

I will try again on Monday, and let you know what they have to say.

Have a great weekend, will get back to you when I know more.

Peninsula Cemetery is in Cooper County
You listed a burial for Eugene Morris in Saline County at a Penensula Cemetery. I looked up the death certificate, and the Johnson County coroner from Holden didn't realize where "Peninsula" Cemetery is. It is just outside Saline County and in Cooper County at a place called Lamine. Morris is listed in Peninsula Cemetery along with links and a photo of his tombstone. I have been searching the Saline County cemetery list for some really old, obscure ones, and any time I find an odd cemetery name with very few burials, I have a look. I thought this was perhaps a misspelled "Pinacle Gap." Please look at the Eugene Morris burial in Peninsula Cemetery at Lamine and see if you agree you have a duplicate because the coroner made a county mistake.

RE: steep hill cem
Peggy - I got a message from Carol Ulmer earlier this month, images were not showing up, only a broken link image. I had given Carol permission to submit my photos to the Arkansas Gravestone project and it is a project she has been working on. You probably saw that post. I had noticed the same thing. I couldn't see the photos I had posted either. I mentioned in my response to her that I thought Findagrave was having issues. I am guessing the traffic to the site has been heavy with the cold weather and people having time to get online. That is my only other theory. Again, I cannot remove any photographs posted by others. The system doesn't allow it.
