|Cheri Branca||re: Theron Wilbur Rittenhouse's obituary|
Thank you for sending me the clues to Theron's obit. I was able to find it in the Rochester D&C and was also able to decipher it and add it to his page.
I appreciate you sending me the information, which has been added to his page.

Hi. Thanks for the additional information. As I was copying and pasting into his bio section I somehow 'erased' the note you sent me a while back about the cause of his death and the note that he's buried on the plot with his sister...I can't remember the exact wording, but wondered if you want me to replace it, and if so, if you remember what it said? Sorry to cause extra work!

|Dawn Barrett||Josiah Bennett|
Hello, My name is Dawn Barrett and I was just going through my Find-A-Grave memorials and see that you made a comment in regards to Josiah who is my great-great grandfather. According to my records he was SUPPOSED to be buried in Drybrook Cemetery in Chemung County, NY. His parents Jeremiah Bennett and Phebe (Phoebe) Lane Bennett are buried in Westown, Orange County, NY. It's possible he may be there with them but I don't know. As you said this may be the best place to leave him. Thanks for the comment and have a good night.

|Sandy Vandertol||RE: Maggie Vedenvere Loveland|
You could call the cemetery office and ask about Maggie's husband, and also get the plot numbers and if there are any other Lovelands buried there. The lady is super nice and helpful. I went in to find some headstones that were requested and the lady would take a whole page of names and just xerox them for me and gave me maps to find the people.

I live on this website and enjoy it so much. Why don't we cast a net and see what we can catch to find Maggie's husband. I love playing Sherlock!

Can you please e-mail me in regards to this family. Robert Kennedy is my second great grandfather and the elder Joseph is my third great grandfather. You might note that I have sponsored those in my direct line. We can decide via e-mail which ones to delete. Thanks. Sharon

|Keith Sykora||Find A Grave Memorial# 116333548|
I have created a memorial for Joseph Sykora's mother.
Find A Grave Memorial# 129631747.
She is buried in an unmarked grave in Woodland Cemetery.
I was very interested to note that you show Joseph's mother as
Mary Maby. This is very similar to the Mary Maly I have found
mentioned in a cryptic note my father, Joseph D. Sykora, wrote.
I would be very interested in knowing your source for Mary Maby.
My father's note has been a big question mark. My own research
indicates that Joseph Sykora Sr.'s wife was Marie (Capek) Sykora and
that the plot she occupies at Woodland was owned by her sister,
Anna (Capek) Ruzicka. Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave.
I was somewhat surprised to find that my grandfather, Joseph
Sykora was already in the system. I have added a portrait and a
grave marker picture to his memorial.

Thanks for posting the headstone application for William Harrison, Civil War soldier, buried at Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio. This solved a great mystery as he is not to be found in the cemetery registry of burials.

Thanks for contacting me about Lawyer Mather. I checked my sources for his death date and parents' names. Horace Mather published the book, "Lineage of Reverend Richard Mather", in 1890. On page 216, Lawyer was listed as the son of Captain John Mather and Weltha Root. Lawyer's birth date was shown as September 5, 1804 and death date as September 18, 1881. However, New York USGENWEB shows Sempronius County's Sand Hill Cemetery burial listings. Lawyer's death date is listed as September 8, 1878 ~ Age 74 years. So, mistakes were made ~ Horace Mather's death date and the 'obituary' that stated he was 75 years old. John Mather and Weltha Root are also buried in the same cemetery. Again, thanks for bringing this to my attention.

|Joel Shore||Re: Andrew T. Ferguson in Mt Hope|
I looked into your photo request for Andrew T. Ferguson (d 1874). The interment records (http://www.lib.rochester.edu/IN/RBSCP/Databases/IMAGES/MtHope/disc1/00000493.pdf) show that he was buried in a single grave in Section M. Unfortunately, his name does not appear in this survey of surviving legible markers in that section that was conducted in the 1980s http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/mthope-sec-m.htm (and, indeed, very few of the single graves in Section M have markers)...But once the weather warms up, I'll try to investigate the location sometime. (I actually was out taking some photos today...but, in this sort of weather, I only try to locate the ones that I expect to be very straightforward.)

Thanks SO much for this additional information and also for transcribing it for me. I have already added it to Eva's Memorial.
Hope the rest of your weekend is good for you.

I'm sorry to see that you are removing this information. It's amazing how much it helps when trying to find relatives. I have transcribed the obituaries you entered for both Samuel Greenfield and Susan G. Greenfield. I also received an e-mail on Eva Secaur Greenfield but when I opened her memorial, there was no obituary listed. Did I take too long and perhaps it was already removed?
I appreciate all of the help you've been to me in researching our relatives. Thanks for all of your help.
