RE: appreciation...
We had a wonderful time in Spokane. We visited a couple of cemeteries and found all of my husbands deceased relatives. We found a couple who had passed in the late 1800's but the names were not familiar with him. I still took their pictures anyway. Later that day I was looking through one of his deceased Aunt's photo albums and there they were...the faces to match with the pictures of the grave markers of relatives my husband never had heard of.

Computers can sure be frustrating...can't they.

Have a blessed day!

Hi,

I sent you an email a couple of weeks ago. Hearing back from you was wonderful. Just wanted to share with you that after feeling the personal impact of your giving of your time to bring our deceased relatives to life we are headed to Spokane this weekend with my camera in hand. My husband and I are going to seek and find his family members grave sites. We are going to take pictures, have them downloaded and add some personal information about them. You are my inspiration!!
May God Bless you always,

RE: Jennie Margaret Ingraham Henderson
Hi Verna,

I'm still ironing out the exact details, but I think we're fifth cousins once removed.

My great great grandfather Andrew C. Ray died in Butte, Montana, in 1917. In his obituary, it lists a surviving cousin "patrolman Jack Ingraham" among a couple others. I did some research and in turn found Jack Ingraham obituary in Butte in 1938 and listed family as well, including his sister a Mrs. E. Hendersen in Idaho. After some more research in censuses and other records back in Maine, I managed to piece together some more of the Ingraham family and came across your Findagrave memorial for Jennie.

I don't have positive proof yet, but I believe that Jennie's father Alexander Ingraham's mother was Mary Ann Ray Ingraham who, in turn, was Andrew C. Ray's father Arthur Ray's sister (she and two of her sons were living with Arthur during one of the Canadian censuses). Does that sound right? Anyhow, I know this all sounds pretty distant but I've been working on researching the extended Ray family in New Brunswick to perhaps find out exactly where in Ireland they originate from. I've got some more information and I'd love anything you'd be willing to send my way. Feel free to send me an e-mail so I have your address and we can swap!

Jennie Margaret Ingraham Henderson
Hi there. I recently came across your memorial for Jennie Margaret Ingraham Henderson and if she is indeed your direct ancestor, then I believe we are related and I would love to get in contact to swap notes. Feel free to leave me a message here on Fanagrave or to drop me an e-mail at jdjames89@aol.com.

Best regards,
Justin James

Hi Verna,
Just dropping by to say hello and hoping you've had a nice summer.

I can't believe how fast it went by! We went on vacation for a few weeks in June. Somehow, it just wasn't long enough....

Drop me a note sometime! I'd love to hear how you're doing and what's happening in your world.

(((HUGS))),

Gwendolyn Youtsey Conner 29893495
Hello,
You have posted the memorial page for Gwendolyn and referenced Judith as a daughter of Judson Conner.

For quite some time I have wondered how she fits into the family. I have her as Judith maybe Nelson daughter of Paul Otis, from the obituary of Ramona Spires.

I would love to chat about this if you are willing but email may be a better media.
Karen

Bev~With Hugs From The Heart
Hello!
Thanks for the note, Verna. I'm still here, and it's so good to hear from you! I've had difficulties with my heart and may have a pace-maker put in sooner rather than later. Right now it's sort of a "wait-and-see" situation. When I was hospitalized a little over a year ago, I was subsequently diagnosed with "broken heart syndrome." Another way to word that is, "stress cardiomyopathy." For more info regarding this interesting subject, look it up on Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins websites, as well as other medical sources. Truly, I did almost die and was in the hospital for a couple of weeks; then had home nurse visitation, physical therapy and so on. I'm thankful, Verna, to have my loving husband Bob take good care of me. He has spoiled me rotten and does all the cooking and so on. We both use home oxygen machines, and portable tanks to take along in the car with us. We have hired a cleaning lady that is honest and thorough. I now only have to see my internal medicine doctor and cardiologist every three months if all is going well. I am greatly blessed indeed; just miss my boys and other family members, of course. God bless you, and thank you so much for being concerned about me. See you around the (F.A.G.) "cemetery" friend. Loving and happy wishes, Bev NOTE: Bob just received a call that his twin brother, Herbert, 83, (Bend, Oregon), not only is hospitalized with a broken hip but now has pneumonia. Calls are going out to all family members.

RE: Friends...
Hello my friend,

It's so nice to see your beautiful photo! Your Mother was a beautiful lady, also. I always enjoy seeing her smile in the middle photo of her memorial.

I so agree with you about missing our Moms. I don't think that pain will ever go away. I know they are in a perfect paradise called Heaven but...

Things are going well for us here in Indiana. Today we had about 50 degrees. That's really good for here. I saw people in shorts and flip-flops. Then next week we're back to snow!

You have written such lovely memorials, Verna. I was really touched by your school friend. I will be back and read more later.

Take care ~ and thanks for visiting my Mom. It really means so much to me.
