|Lillian (Stone) Salstrom||Gila County: Bacon Family Cemetery|
I hope this email finds you well and still enjoying digging up Arizona history.
Today I was adding information for a family member recently interred at the Bacon Family Cemetery and realized we would like to document history of the Cemetery. the Cemetery is on forest service land and is documented with them, however, the ownership of the ranch is a history I would like to document.
With your knowledge of the county and county history, hopefully there's a chance you might remember/know who the current owners of the Tin and now(???) ranch, might be? If not, I am hoping you might have a little time and could direct me on where to look and maybe who to talk too to find the ranch history and possibly any documentation.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello, Carrie Martin Find A Grave # 18911176 was my Aunt. She married my Uncle Lum Martin, her last husband. I have her information and the Lum Martin Find A Grave Memorial. My Grandfather was George Martin who with his father traveled from Missouri and claimed the Bar X ranch in Tonto basin for their own. Lum was Georges brother. My Mother Ruby Martin was born on the Bar X. I see someone asked you about the Tonto Basin Cemetery? Years ago the area Post Office was named Cline AZ not Pumkin Center. So the Cemetery which was on the Bar X was named the Cline AZ Cemetery by my Grandfather George Martin. It is still on private ground and owned my the Dale Cline family members. My Great Grandfather Martin was the first to be buried there. I think there is a Tonto basin Cemetery also? I am doing all of the family Genealogy and would love to place Carrie with her other family members, if you would consider a transfer? George, can you look at Google Maps and give us a GPS location for this grave? Gila Co. has fewer than 40% of the cemeteries located in the system and I have been working it this weekend to better those numbers. Thank you! -Rebecca

Correction to the obituary I sent yesterday. The copy was so bad, I've asked Linda Haught Ortega to look over what I thought it said. The correction is the daughter's name is "Hannah". So instead of Mrs. Harold Lee Howe, it should be Mrs. Hannah Lee Howe.

THIS IS MY SISTER. Please transfer her to me. I originally asked for a transfer of her memorial on February 15, 2012, but received no response.The transfer request complies with Find A Grave guidelines. "...Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be sibllings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
Rather than forward the request to Find A Grave admin, I sent you a second request yesterday, hoping you just overlooked my request. I made the request second reques via the SAC tab on her memorial, and am posting her as well.
Her father, Isaac Bruce Swope, is also my father. I have posted a copy of her birth certificate on her memorial to prove who her parentage. I also requested you connect her to her father (#83953359)and sent you that request via the SAC tab. Her mother is Bernice Cornelia Walters Hill (#55662932). The 1930 Federal census lists her as Dorothy Swope, daughter of Bernie Swope, in Phoenix, Texas.
If necessary, I will provide a copy of my birth certificate to prove our being siblings.tra

|Paula||Geneiva Ellen Bernhagen|
Hi again, George,
Thanks for transfering the memorial to me. I have editted it using your grave photo and my pic of Geneiva and changed the dates, etc.
By the way, did you know Geneiva?
Her daughter wanted me to be sure to let you how much she appreciates your effort too. Seeing her mother's headstone for the first time brought tears to her eyes. They were very close.
Your volunteer work taking photos at the cemeteries is so important and helps not only my genealogy research but many generations to connect to their ancestors. Keep up the good work! Paula

Thank you for taking the time to take pictures and create a memorial for Geneiva. She is my friend Dian's mother and we are currently researching the family history. Would you be willing to transfer ownership of this memorial to me? We have a lot more info we'd like to add to it and other family members we would link.

Oh, so many thanks for the photo on the grave of John D. Horton. As a former law enforcement officer and U.S. Navy personnel you understand the service one gives to one's fellow human by such employ. It would be a shame not to remember Mr. Horton on Find A Grave for his service with the U.S. Calvary in the Buffalo Soldiers. And for the pic of his 2nd wife, Clara, thank you also.
