|T. Custis||RE: Annie Doyle & children|
Thanks. I understand that many were mixed as they say. I was just trying to use that information to find out if we could somehow figure out the different Thomas Doyles and how they relate to this particular cousin's husband. I am certain his grandmother was Estelle and I can ask him further information the next time we see them to see if he knows anything further and wants to help figure it out. Otherwise I may just concentrate more on our immediate line of ancestors!

|T. Custis||RE: Annie Doyle & children|
Thanks, I understand. It is a little confusing sometimes. There are some family trees on Ancestry.com that seem to indicate Thomas married a Martha after 1895 and the last three children were by her.
The birth date for Thomas on many of the trees and the census records that are being sited show multiple birth dates for Thomas from 1854 to 1861. Also, the census records jump back and forth between white and mulatto as well, as if there might have been two Thomas Doyles.?? So, no rush, just thought I would check. The picture on Liddie's page seems to show a black or mixed race person. So..
My husband's cousin married into the family by marrying one of Estelle Doyle's grandkids, (Estelle is one of the children of Thomas and Annie). He (the grandson) is not mixed race as far as I know, but you can never really tell. I might be able to get some information from him, but they have not shown much interest in genealogy.

You are welcome. I am not kin, and saw where you had left some beautiful flowers and thought they might be kin to you or good friends.
Have a blessed New Year.

Hi! Deleted the 2 parents in there, and put the two you sent in the Bio Section. Will try to look them up in F/G to see if they are there.
THANKS for sending that info! We sure are grateful! (Suspect the Laughter family is, also!)

|geogoon||RE: Lula Ethel Gable Boyette Nolan|
My pleasure! Unfortunately I don't know where John Henry Boyette is buried. I came across Lula when I was searching for information on Joseph Nolan, who is on my family tree. Something that popped up on Ancestry.com for John Henry was that he died in San Diego due to a bus accident. Don't know if that helps but maybe it's something you didn't know.
If I come across anything in the future on JH I will certainly let you know.

I just got started in Genealogy and have run into a number of dead ends but that's the fun of it. I noticed you edited David Maricle's record here and was wondering if you could give me any more information on him. He's my Great-Grandfather and he was my very first dead end about a month ago when I started this. Any information about him would be greatley appreciated.

I am researching the Moser family from Pickens SC when I came upon this picture. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is Henrietta Moser's brother. Their father is James P and Mary Moser. My Great Grandmother is Florrie aka Florence Henrietta Reeves and her mom was Winifred Henrietta Moser Reeves.
Any help would be appreciated. I know they were from upstate SC and moved to Athens GA area.

Oh Dana, is my face red! I may have seen your flowers left on F.A.G. graves here in Oklahoma, but I do not personally manage any McCausland memorials. I should have checked before first contacting you. Sorry to be confusing!

Good morning, Dana! I'm updating my research on my Ackleys who married some McCauslands in Mayes County, Oklahoma 110 years ago. I see you've put flowers on several of their graves. I'm only very distantly related via marriage and would be happy to transfer should they be closer "kin" to you.

Thanks for adding the bio & linking her to her father. Yes, I am related. She was the grand niece of my ancestor, Matilda Nelson McGlathery. I have located 3 of her 5 children but haven't found Seny Victoria who died in 1938 Tuscaloosa Co AL or William M who was born in Dec 1898.

|PATTY & JR BLANTON||Cowart Data Base|
Hi! We are not connected to Mr. Cowart's data base whatsoever. We have no contact point for you to write or call.
Did not even know the site had been zapped. We have used it occasionally. Some genealogists have written in the past stating how much full of errors the data was, but I found it better than nothing, and a starting point to find parents/spouses/children.
The data base I find is more accurate is:
and Ancestry.com. None of the data bases are perfect--but here again, one can combine the "best" data from all the data bases to come up with some pretty accurate info.
Thanks for writing. If I hear what happened to Cowart, will let you know.

I was wondering if you are related my great-great grandfather was Davis Stafford Meek who married Elizabeth Moore, His family was from Johnson County, however thats not true since the county wasn't formed until after 1900.
Thanks and Have A great Day
