Hello Cilla. Re: Dalbec grave. Is there any chance you can contact St. Mary's Rectory and get the block of the grave? They will only give the information to families. If you get the block I can find it easier and quicker. Thanks, Lynn

Never mind that last one - I didn't realize I'd already answered and I can't figure out how to delete it.

I'm sorry, I just now saw this message. If I didn't put the lot number on the memorial, I must not have made note of where it was. I'm sorry!

Clarence Dalbec
Hello Cilla. I will be happy to find the stone of Clarence. If possible tho, could you please call or write to St. Mary's Rectory and request the location of the grave (block number is enough). They won't give out the information to any but family. If not, it is hit or miss although the cemetery isn't large. I won't be able to go before spring thaw. Thanks, Lynn

RE: Petrusha family
It's in the captions, Lot 15, Block 19 (I went to City Hall first and looked it up). Sorry they're not more legible but due to the controversy about the best way to clean stones, I don't do it anymore for fear of doing damage.

Clarence W. Hoyt/Libby Cemetery
Hi. On Clarence Hoyt's Find A Grave page it indicates that he died in 1953 in Montana. The location is incorrect. According to Washington Digital Archives, Clarence W. Hoyt died 17 May 1953, age 54, in Walla Walla, Walla Walla, WA, parents: George W. Hoyt and Genevieve Brown.

Robert is already linked to his parents, besides which he is not mine. This would not happen if you used the edit button on the memorial as you are suppose to. Penny

Yes, you did! Good job! I went ahead and edited the surname to her for Hoyt vs putting that in her maiden name slot. Though technically it is her maiden name, she never had a different name (from marriage) so she did not fall under H in the index for the cemetery, she was up as if she had no surname... but you will still have to accept my edit suggestion before it goes through.

Thank you for letting me know the name of the other girl I was needing. Someone else sent me that (possibly Dolly Treece), so I pasted what they wrote into the memorial. I cannot add Priscilla's parents to her memorial. Only the maintainer of the memorial or Find A Grave admin can do that, so you need to click on "link family members" when you are logged into Find A Grave on Priscilla's memorial and then paste her father's memorial number into the space that says father.

Memorial 45318236 Earl
Hello.
You are welcome for the info. As I stated in the email, I have suggested an edit to the caretaker of Earl's memorial, so that the cemetery info will be removed. It seems that Earl was dear to you. I'm sad that I was unable to honor him for you with a photo. But happy that we were able to determine where he is not.
Happy searching!

RE: Orin Russel Strong
My mistake - I had the wrong birth date down for Orin R. Strong so I corrected it.

You will have to link James R. Strong to his father as I cannot do it because I did not submit his name in the first place. I can only link sons to fathers and not the other way around in FindaGrave.com.

Oh - I am related to this family. I was a little surprised to see any of the New York Strongs ending up in Washington state.

RE: Orin Russel Strong
I note from their birth dates, Orin was born in 1834 and James was born in 1848. There is a 14 year difference between the two. My question is that they may be brothers???

RE: Orin Russel Strong
Now how do you want me to link Orin R. Strong (1834-1915) to James R. Strong (1849-1912)???

Abraham has been transfered to you but his wife had already been transfered to someone else.

Sorry this took so long, I was in the hospital for 5 days and feeling pretty weak.

RE: Clarence W. Hoyt
Use the edit function for transfers. Include your contributor number so I get the right person.
You see i do cemeteries all over the nation so have no idea where your father is buried. go to his memorial and click the edit button up in right hand corner and then go to Suggest a correction or provide additional information and under message give me your fathers number and cemetery he is in and your number and we can get things going.

Laurin Cemetery
Hi Cilla, We do have all of Laurin Cemetery on our computer as we live about 80 miles from there. It is a relatively small cemetery so we decided to just take all the pictures last summer. Good thing as we have snow for Cinco de Mayo today.
