RE: Harlan
They're from the walking survey published in the county cemetery book. Could you please name which "few" you've found listed in a different cemetery? I'm aware of one infant for which Gallatin might be a cenotaph.

Kentuckytown Cemetery
The Kentucktown cemetery has not been kept up in years. I'm with the Whitewright (formerly Kentuckytown) Masonic Lodge. The lodge just started cleaning it, and 1 previously un seen stome has already been uncovered. Many graves are still unmarked. As we get it cleaned, I'll try to keep an eye out for the grave you requested, but it maybe no longer marked.

The info was provided by the cemetery census posted on the internet. Those census' are usually performed by someone who is walking the cemetery with cemetery records in hand. If there is a tombstone with dates on them those are the dates recorded. A death certificate would be the most accurate source of information.
Find one of those and compare to your funeral home records and let me know if there is a true need for a change.
