Leslie & Hazel Tinkler
Thank you Sarah for the lovely picture of my Great Uncle Leslie and Aunt Hazel Tinkler (my grandfather Clancy was his brother). I never met them in person, but talked to them on the phone once when I got interested in family history. Many years ago, Uncle Leslie put together a scrapbook of old family photos and a family tree. What a precious gift that has been to me.

Yours truly,
Michele Paplanus

RE: Thank you
I am guessing you are referring to Matthew McEwen 1892-1906. He is quite distant from my direct line.
He is the 2nd cousin 1x removed of the husband of my 2nd cousin.Through my Grandmother's family.
Thanks!
Gary

RE: Amelia Gunn
Hello, thanks for getting in touch and thank you for the offer to photograph Amelia's grave.

Amelia's grand parents David and Jane Gunn were pioneers in Nova Scotia and have many descendants all over the world. David Gunn is related to my first cousin three times removed.

His son Peter Gunn married Caroline Amelia Fraser in Sherbrooke in 1865, and my great great grandfather Alexander Fraser got married in Sherbrooke in 1864 so there is another connection there.

Do please join our facebook group, Sherbrooke Road Family Connections: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sherbrookeroadfamilyconnections/

Thank you very much once again.

Transfer request
If you would please transfer #27066565, my GG Grandmother to me I would much appreciate it. And by the way: that rose bush on her grave came across the prairie with her and her first husband, Drury D Mayes enroute. And-- that is her G. grandson, Omar Pete Hause buried next to her. And--that was the family homestead right across the road from the cemetary. Thanks

Edna Ellsworth
Sarah,
You didn't have to erase Edna's memorial, just erase where her death date was listed as unknown to leave blank.

RE: Hello!
Doing well, Happy New Years to you. I have to get back into more research soon, just found 3 boxes of pictures and many clues to history of several familys I 'm working on. Lots of old musty smelling papers that are going in the trash as they are old school papers, etc from my past and my brothers, so away they go. Saving anything that might help.
Will you be in Goldendale this summer? Call if you are in town. Audrey

Joan
RE: Kenneth Hinshaw
Jean could be buried in Mountain View. The cemetery staff would be able to provide that information. I emailed you a copy of an Ancestry marriage record for Mary Harriet (Gunn) Hinshaw and D. F. Tubbs that lists the date as 29 Dec 1920 in Klickitat County.

Kenneth Hinshaw
I haven't added Kenneth E/G Hinshaw (#62745520) to my family tree - Obituary on his memorial says he married Estaline Geary in 1929. Find A Grave Memorial# 99166229

I found a Lee Family Tree posted on Ancestry by an excellent Hinshaw Family Researcher.
Kenneth married Jean Krofsky (1921-2004) on March 4, 1971 in Klickitat Co., WA. Jean died in Howard, Fremont, Colorado on October 19, 2004. I didn't find another Find A Grave memorial for her so do not know where she is buried - although her stone is in Mountain View Cemetery.

Joe Willis
Tebbs
I talked with my dad and Grandma today. My grandmother remembers Cedric and Abe. My dad helped put hay in a barn on he believes Abe's place. He also remembers Liz she was a couple years younger than him. The land is only a couple miles away from my families farm.
One of my cousins still farms the land that is owned by Tue Tebbs family.

Ida Dingmon Hinshaw
"Washington, Marriage Records, 1865-2004" shows date of Oct. 13, 1886 for Ida R. Dingmon and Elmer E. Hinshaw. I sent the information as Oct. 31 which is incorrect.

RE: Thank you!
I will also be creating a memorial and posting pics for his sister (I assume, as death date is within one day of Edward's) and their mother. All are buried in the same area of the cemetery. If you are related and want the new memorials transferred to you, just let me know.

My grandfather Hugh Adams went to the Marks reunions every year until he died in the 1990's. You might remember him. He lived in Los Angeles.

RE: Hello!
Sorry, that I have taken so long to write you back. I am not on very often. Right now I am helping our son, he just had his 3rd back surgery and is unable to do much, so I spent week days while his wife works. Glad to meet you. You will have to fill me in on the conection to the Tebbs Family. I know that McEwens and Tebbs are related, but have forgotten...lol,, nothing new for me. Thanks for writing. Corinne
