Does anyone know of any information related to Oliver's wife Cynthia Gann Franks?

|Paul Franks||RE: Oliver Samuel Franks|
I think I figured out a way to have the other children of Oliver & Cynthia added to this memorial. I am trying it through asking the Find A Grave administrator. I thought this might be helpful for others looking for their Franks relatives.
Question: What relation are you to Oliver & Cynthia and do you know where Cynthia Gann Franks is buried, I can't find any records of her death or the place thereof.
I am a fifth generation descendant now living in Central Texas.

I was going back through some items and it appears as though someone else has a "Harriet Janie" Franks with the same basic information as I had from the stone, but with only Janie N Franks. However, upon further review, it looks like maybe it should have been Janie "H". Please look at it and see if you think it's the same. I will e-mail the other contributor as well and see what she thinks. We work well together and she does a lot more research in the area then I do. She's gone through newspapers etc. I just happened to decide to take pictures there and transcribe from those, but actually live almost 2 hours from there.

I am sorry to confuse you, but there is no Claude Cemetery in Potter County, there is a Claude Cemetery, and it is in Armstrong County, Texas, I live in Amarillo, Texas, my sister lives on a Farm In Armstrong County. I didn't mean to confuse you, but Claude is about 30 miles from Amarillo.

Linda, I need to give the credit to a nice couple who actually took the photo...Ken and Zenith (don't know the last name). They took a photo for me and did not know how to add to the Find A Grave website and sent it to me directly and asked me to add some more photos for them. I was happy to help them with it. Glad you enjoyed the photo of the Heathcoat's stone.

Linda, you're right. I'll go back to Knob Creek Cemetery and double check the dates. That's the only Everett in the cemetery. Sandy

I am totally confused regarding Franks, Jewel Juanita.
There are 3 entries in South Fairview Cemetery in Wellington, TX (with photo requests)
Then, there is another entry for the same little girl, with a headstone photo, in Blue Mountain Cemetery in Arkansas.
Can you help?

|C Wilson||RE: Mary H. Boothe|
It appears that the photo which I thought might be of Mary Boothe's marker is actually the marker of another Mary at Terry.

|C Wilson||RE: A M Boothe ~ Rehobeth|
The A M Boothe photo is posted to his memorial.
I found no marker for Mary Boothe beside his plot. The marker which I thought might have been hers is nearby ... but not next to his.
The cemetery is not large ... nor is it heavily overgrown with brush; but it is in a grove of trees. The ground is covered by many years accumulation of leaves, limbs, vines, and forest detritus ... all of which makes finding flat or toppled markers difficult to find. Nevertheless ... be assured that I searched pretty thoroughly

I don't know ...
I found the Old Terry cemetery; and there is a grave marker which can be clearly read ... Mary Hanson; but the rest of the stone is pretty much worn away by the elements.
I did find a marker ... a very good marker ... for A B Boothe.

Do you know the maiden name of Mary Boothe?
What does the 'H' in her name reepresent?

|C Wilson||RE: Rehobeth cemetery|
I don't live near the area of Rehobeth; and I don't have children (or grandchildren) of an age to be involved in scouts. So ... to answer your question ... I don't know =-/. Furthermore ... Fannin County doesn't have the population base of, say, Dallas or Collin County to support a sufficient voluteer base; and Rehobeth is somewhat remote from any concentration of residents who might be concerned enough to create an historical preservation group. It's a shame; and it breaks my heart to see any cemetery in such decline ... but that's the way that it is.
This is the fifth time I've tried to fulfill photo requests in an abandoned, overgrown cemetery this summer ... and the second bout that I have had with poison ivy, even though I have tried to be alert and cautious. My spouse, who usually tolerates my volunteer activity in silence, has impressed upon me vigorously, 'Don't do it again!' ... =-)
