|Kevin Finch||Ann Eagan|
I claimed your picture for Ann. Yesterday, some guy jumped my claim, took the photo and posted it on her memorial. He also jumped others claims and posted them as well. What his purpose is for doing this is, I don't know. He is a Find a Grave contributor, and can claim them himself if he wants to. Anyway, I have already traveled to the cemetery, taken the photo, and intend to post it later today. Let me know how you want to handle this.

|B.J. Waters||Photo request.|
A check of the cemetery's online grave locater indicates that Frances Crum is not buried there; she is still alive. A you can see from the inactive member's note on Frances's memorial, they created Frances's memorial as a pre-need (still living) memorial, which is, of course, against Find A Grave's policy. Just thought you might like to know that.

Thank you for taking photos in Anaheim for me! I wish there was more to the inscription but it is neat to see Pearl E (Griffith) Short, my great grandmother's resting place was right in the middle of her two sisters, Maude Griffith and Rena (Griffith) Loveless. Thank you so much!

|Sabrina D||Schneider at Holy Cross|
Baby Schneider was originally interred at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in San Francisco. The cemetery was closed and the remains were moved to Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. The remains were buried in one section, and while there are no individual grave markers. There is a memorial is dedicated to them all. I attached the photo of the location.
I have submitted edits to the memorial page manager for plot location, transcription, name, and birth date.
The burial removal record states the baby was still born, and was the child of Frank and Margaret, no gender was listed. The death date was January 7, 1867.

|BOBBI AUSTIN||street correction|
I was just told that if you added the photo for
Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery on Fairhaven you are the one who can go in and correct the type O
from Fairlawn to Fairhaven just by returning to the post photo site.
That is in Santa Ana on Fairhaven, Orange county.
Good luck, :-)

I know where 3 of them are and 1 lawn I'll have to walk. The other 2 have some problems, one is suspected to be unmarked and the other was not buried with her husband and I haven't called to see if she is there at all. I changed to anonymous for awhile due to some issues with prior volunteer. That's interesting about the basement. I had heard there are strange happens down there. I took a whole lot of photos down there a couple years ago, but didn't have any supernatural experiences. I'm sure there will be requests for you to do in May.

Well, I hope you have success with that explanation. They are well acquainted with Findagrave volunteers at Fairhaven and haven't in the past been very cooperative. Let me know how the office visit goes. I really hope they are cooperative, there are a lot of family members waiting for their photos.

Fairhaven used to be more friendly, but there have been a lot of volunteers over the last 3 years that went into the office and demanded information. Additionally, new receptionists have been hired and they are unfriendly too. The second request from the top that you have claimed, is a duplicate memorial. I walked that lawn years ago and photographed every headstone. I would suggest that you try calling for the next three days and request a location for one of your claims per day. It will at least give you the lawn they are in. There is at least one receptionist that will give you a location and sometimes you get transferred to a counselor. Just tell them you are looking for a relative. I haven't tried this, but if you look on their website under "contact us" they do mention family research location information. You might try emailing on one or two of them. Otherwise, once you get the location, it's a lot of walking. There are no number markers in the lawns. There also is a roaming security car most days that usually doesn't bother you. If you go into the office Monday, say you are looking for a few relatives and they should give you to a counselor and if they help you, they will give you a map which would really help you find them. It will only work once, they will recognize you if you go in the office a second time. This cemetery is not an easy place to do volunteer work. I'm used to it, but someday I will not be able to walk it anymore.
At least Westminster is well marked within the sections. I stopped going there years ago unless I have a location. However, the new person working that cemetery tells me that they are cooperating thus far with him. I think he calls first and doesn't show up with a list. Hope this is helpful.

I haven't made any plans to go at this point. Sometimes, I just go on a whim, depending how I am feeling. Just so you know Fairhaven is not friendly to volunteers and I never go into the office. I simply walk the whole lawn looking for the grave. A tedious and time consuming endeavor.

Yes, It is quite sad that they are so strict with their rules. I will not try unless I have the plot location.
I was faced with this upon trying to visit my deceased friend and her mothers plot, not being a "family" member is very trying.
Thank you for understanding :)

Hi there! Thanks so much for taking the time to search for the graves for my Gillett family. I guess some of the unmarried gals in this family just didn't have tombstones. Thanks again! - Jean
