You are most welcome! Yes, it was a nice way to spend Veterans Day although it was a bit cold.

It is possible there are 2 markers, one could be a cenotaph, or maybe the other one is a guess. Since the names I entered are from grave marker indexes at cemeteries that volunteers walked and noted, I would expect she did have a grave marker at Louisville. A photo request for her marker has been submitted. Thanks for the alert.

|Nathan Haines||Warren J Wallace|
I got pics today per your request for Warren J Wallace's grave. When I was looking for it I saw
another stone for a Wallace husband and wife. I would say the other stone was about 50 feet from where I found Wallace's stone. I thought they probably are not related since there are a lot of people with the last name of Wallace, right?
I just did a bit of checking and that other stone is for Warren's parent's. They are related after all.
They have not been added to Find A Grave. Do you want to add them or do you want me to? I can go back and get pics of their grave too if you like if you want to put in a request for pictures for them.

Still trying to locate Ms. Stump for you. I do have an "Elmer M Stump" 1919-1996; it could be right as so many people use their middle name instead of their first. He is with the McKinnon family.
Will keep looking, have not checked with the office yet.

|Janet Mercurio||RE: Shober|
Yes - John T. Shober is the brother of George Cyrus Shober and I believe they are both buried at the Chico Cemetery. I was hoping that there might be a gravestone for Cyrus. But I think he was the last survivor of his family out here in California, so there might not have been anyone to pay for a stone for him.
Thank you for looking for one. I'm sorry to hear that it's not there.
Do you happen to know if they were buried near each other?
I appreciate your help & your response.

I only live 2 miles from the Cemetery. I am there at least once a week and they are very nice and helpful to me. It was no problem, you are welcome.

I checked again in the Ceres Cem office. Given the info in the obit I suspected that he was cremated in Ceres but not buried. The office confirmed that indeed he was cremated there but his remains are not there. I would suggest Salas Bros Funeral may have some further info.
PS--I did take a photo of the info card. I would be happy to email it to you. email@example.com

|Jenny Scott||Chauncey Holcomb|
Thank you for the request to add a birth date for Chauncey Holcomb, but I believe this is likely a different Chauncey Holcomb than you have in mind. From the information I have found so far, this Mr. Holcomb was 88 when he passed away, and given the section in which he is buried, he died between 1895 and 1905. His birthdate would have been somewhere around 1810-1820.
There is a Chauncey C. Holcomb with a September 1883 birthdate buried in Dakota County, Minnesota (FG# 135970666). Might that be the Mr. Holcomb you have in mind?
