For some reason that email would not load up so could not see it. One of Bowie's sisters, Arabella was my great great grandmother. Appreciate the prompt service and will check out Bowie's gravesite.

Thank you. I am in the process of adding the rest of the family, unless you would like to add the memorials and then transfer them to me? Were there any Biningers in the plot?

Thank you so much for the photos and so quickly. I really appreciate it.

That worked perfectly! Thank you so much and I have added your transcription to their memorials and corrected the dates where necessary. Your photograph of the monument is a lot clearer than the original one posted to Clement Clarke Moore's so I really appreciate that.

I see that three children of Clement Clarke Moore are listed on his tombstone so I created their memorials and "requested a photo." It would be great if you could "claim" those requests and get credit and upload your photo to their memorials. Would appreciate the exact dates noted on the photo when you upload it as I had trouble reading the stone and some dates appeared to be different from my research. Thank you for your time and effort.

Was able to download the zipped photos okay. Many, many thanks. That Beiser monument is very interesting. It confirms the spelling of the maiden name of Caroline (Beiser) Fischer.
Interestingly, I was able to find old newspaper stories about 18-yr-old Mary Caroline Beiser. She drowned at Coney Island; she & a friend were swept away by the rip tide; the friend floated on her back and was eventually rescued; Mary perished. My guess is that Andrew Beiser was Caroline's brother. Much work still to do!
I went back to the book of tombstone inscriptions for Trinity Cem., and from the way the entries are laid out on the page, it looks like Bernhard Fischer and Caroline (Beiser) Fischer each had a separate stone. So I agree with you -- that unreadable stone in the corner could well be for Bernhard or Caroline. Perhaps their stones fell over, and someone picked that one up and propped it in the corner. Thanks for volunteering! --dave

Hi-- thanks very much for taking the photos of the Josephine Gross and Caroline Beiser stones. Now that we've seen those photos, my wife & I will make a trip in to work at the Library, with a side trip up to Trinity to study those stones in more detail. You've helped a lot. Thanks again! --dave
