Hi again,
The family is jumping up and down to hear from you again.
My mother was a little leary about public postings and asked you to email her. I explained that the postings are not a threat.
We have questions as I understand you do.
One is what wedding (1946) were you referring to in your post, who got married? Also, is your father alive? My cousin thinks his name is Joe, is that correct? I'm going to let my mother continue from here. Wishing you the happiest hollidays! Karen
My name is Joan Black,I guess we have a lot to peace together. We were so excitd to hear from you .Aunt Marie was a loving person and so was Mrs.Kelly.My mother was with Aunt Marie when she passed away so she was not alone. We were all together with Kelly when he Passed away.He had prostrate cancer. He fought long and hard so please contact us again. Thank you sooo much!
Finding you was sheer accident, I was just google-ing!
My name is Karen. My grandmother was Grace Veronica Cecelia Conlon Walsh Kelly, his second wife. I didn't know Gramps very well, he was a merchant marine and gone most of the time. I'll have my mother write, she knows more. We're here in Brazoria Texas. He lived here many years and is burried here among other family members.
Take care, talk soon,
K

Sawyers
The Sawyers do look alike. Fortunately, I have been able to find several photos of Governor Sawyer and his wife which are added to their sites. You have been the only one that has emailed me about the Sawyer Family in Dover. So many of these families are long gone. This is why it is important that we post as much information as we can find on a individual for future generations. Richard.

RE: Jonathan S. Bradley
Thanks for adding photo of Charles Henry Sawyer. Your Jonathan Bradley site looks good. Have you been able to go to Dover and visit the gravesite? It would be nice to go up in the fall when all the trees are in color. Thanks for telling me about the new photo you added. Richard.

Jonathan Sawyer Bradley
Ellen, The person who originally took photos of gravesite has added new stones to site. You might want to rearrange the photos so Jonathan's photo shows. Thanks Richard.

Jonathan Sawyer #41326653
I put the photo back of the Sawyer Mansion now second on Jonathan Sawyer's site. Every time I look at this house it makes me sad that the house got torn down. Fortunately, the house of Charles Henry, the Governor, did not go under the wrecking ball--it belonged to his wife's people. A photo of that house appears on his wife's Susan Sawyer's site. I have spent a great deal of time researching this branch of the Sawyer Family but I enjoy it very much. Richard.

RE: Carol Smith Mann
I just transferred Carol Smith Mann, a very beautiful site. Your memorials are increasing. If you have put in her parents, please add links. The links create the family tree.

Ellen, If you look at this memorial, you will see the size of the Sawyer Plot in Dover. All stones are shaped like the ones on Jonathan Sawyer Bradley and Eleanor Bradley. It is on a corner lot in cemetery and takes up a good portion of this area. The only large stone is the one of Elder Jonathan Sawyer. Richard.
Very sad Sawyer Mansion torn down to put of Burger KING.

Jonathan Bradley
Ellen, He looks like a Sawyer. I see why he was buried in Sawyer Plot in Dover. I am glad you have these two sites now. I will review your information and see what I can come up with for Eleanor's second husband. Sounds like Jonathan did not want his real birth date known. Richard.

Ellen, I added Carol Smith seeing that she was not in. Could you add your photo of her stone and I will transfer her to you. richard.
P.S. I also transferred Jonathan Sawyer Bradley and we decided to use Social Security Dates for birth and death.

Ellen, I have transferred Eleanor to you. I am waiting to hear back from my photographer as to Jonathan Sawyer Bradley dates. I will let you know what happens. Did Eleanor & Jonathan have any children?

Eleanor Mann Bradley
Ellen, Who was Eleanor's second husband and I will link her to him as well as parents of Eleanor if in find a grave. Putting links on sites will help identify the family better. If you want me to transfer Eleanor to you I will but I would like to add her links to husbands and families. Richard.

Jonathan Bradley
I am having the person who took the photo of Jonathan Sawyer Bradley's grave look at the photo and tell me what she thinks the death is.
There may have been a child born that was given the Jonathan Sawyer Bradley name and died. I have no problem changing the date but I want her opinion as to what this is on stone. Richard.

I looked again at stone. It appears to be 1963. Where did he die at? It would be nice to get a photo of him on the site. I have added place of death of Eleanor Bradley.

RE: Eleanor Bradley
Thanks for your email. Are we speaking about memorial #42611541. I have linked this memorial to Eleanor Bradley. Is the date of birth right on the site? When the photo of grave was taken, it probably was transcribed wrong to the memorial since the Bradley branch of Sawyers was transcribed by someone else. I bet Alice thought this was a child and did not connect with Eleanor Bradley. Is the link I have made to Eleanor correct? I will chk on Jonathan Sawyer Bradley in Social Security.
