Family Finder
RE: William Gentry
Thanks. I checked out the website and have book marked it. I wanted to see what was there on Kenneth Hourigan. Kenneth was one of the men that I knew growing up in Harrodsburg. I knew who several of the others were but I was more familiar with Kenneth. Kenneth served as sheriff of Mercer County for a few years.

Donald Grinden
Hi Jim,
Sorry for the previous message.
Thank you for posting the photo of Donald Grinden's name on the Tablets of the Missing. Although I did not create most of the memorial pages for my home town heros, I am trying my best to help complete them and your contribution is much appreciated.
Thank you for all of your work and best wishes for the future.
A grateful American,

I can't thank you enough for photographing Matthew's name on the Tablets of the Missing. The family will be very happy to see it since they can't travel there. Best regards from WA State.

Thank you so much for the amazing photo of my great-uncle which you have put onto FindAGrave. Sad story in that my grandfather's youngest 4 siblings were put into an orphanage, and Louis went off to war and was killed. Your bio leads me to believe that the photo might have come from a high school yearbook. Could you please let me know what high school, or where you did find the photo? That would be helpful. The note that he entered the service from Indiana has me confused, since Chicago area was the only place I knew that he might have been located.

Pvt. Curtis Green photos
Thank you, so much for your help. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this! Curtis was my uncle on my Dad's side of the family. He went into the service when my Dad was 12 years old. My Dad had sent Curtis several letters that were never recieved, returned unopened. My Mom still has them, my Dad is deceased now. He would have been in his 80's.

Again, thank you for everything. Let me know if I can ever exchange the favor for you somehow.

Sorry we sometimes think we are in the right spot.
I usually go several times to recheck. The maps show as maybe the 3rd row which by lot size could be 4 or 5 rows back. We do try hard though. Always contact the cemetery to check plot books for markers if we can't find one.

Jim, I posted photos on Corp. Joseph Gillis' memorial page - I included a photo of the main Bataan Death March memorial. It is a big deal in this town - still. All those boys and men knew each other, their families all knew each other - and so few returned.
