Kenneth, thank you so much for getting the photos of Joseph Engeseth, Anna (Troseth) Engeseth, Orvel Engeseth and Ernest Engeseth. Can I have your permission to use your photos on my ancestry tree? This is my sister in laws side of the family and I am doing research for my niece so she also knows her mothers side of the family. I really appreciate your time. I hope you have a wonderful fall and happy hunting! - Caroline

|Denise Maine||Lars Larson in Oak Grove Cemetery|
Thank you for your help. I was told a year ago that he was buried in this cemetery by someone that I talked to in Oak Grove. So now I have to try to find where he is buried and I was wondering if you have any suggestions? Lars was my great grandfather from Sweden. He died in the Becker Co Infirmary in 1938. He didn't have any money and his family disowned him. Do you know where an indigent person would have been buried? His death cert. says burial in Lake Park, Minnesota....Thank you for any suggestions. Denise Maine email@example.com

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I served as an officer in the Coast Guard, ending as a lieutenant commander. The photo was taken in 1968, on the day my ship returned to San Francisco from a year in Vietnam.

|Ken Richter||RE: Thank You!|
There are three requests for the Kiel Cemetery that I have had difficulty finding, yours was one. Today, I tried again and this time there was an older man cutting lawn, he stopped to see if I needed help, I said I was looking for Gartzke; he said "Al" as he was an old friend and pointed to the other side of the cemetery. The grave stone had two faces and I guess I was always looking at the wrong side. So now Al and his wife are on the FindaGrave site.
Have a good weekend,

|Eileen Russell||Minnie Sacket grave|
Thank you so much for taking this picture for me. I can't tell you how much it means.
It would be interesting to know what her cause of death was.
Her father, Joseph Sacket (my great grandfather) was a pioneer in the Dakota Territory. He came from Lisbon, NY and homesteaded outside Fargo in Lisbon, No, Dakota. He died in 1900 and the funeral was in the charge of A.O.U.W. of which he was a charter member.
I cannot find where he was buried. You would think if he were buried in No Dakota, it would be near Minnie but there is no record of another Sacket in that cemetery. I suspect he was cremated and Mary took his ashes with her back to New York. She left and went back to New York with her son shortly after Joseph died.
Thank you again,
Eileen Sacket Russell
