I sent you 3 requests to add information so I could delete duplicates. I will continue to send future requests if I find further information.

"childish??" Whose calling who names???? I don't care who is friends with whom. This is high school crap!!! I have reported both of you to the admins and will continue to do so because of your name calling.

If I want to delete your responses to me because of your name calling, I will do so. It is MY PAGE. If you don't like it - TOUGH!

RE: Adrian Rigsbee
your statement "But my point is......you DID create a memorial for Adrian .....when you know he's buried in Arlington East Hill Cemetery

incorrect! I did NOT know

and, "I'm going to play your game."

I don't play games. Just add the data and I will delete my record. Play games with someone who is interested. I'm not.

RE: Adrian Rigsbee
I didn't create a memorial for him in a cemetery where I knew he wasn't buried. I misread the burial record that shows his wife and son ARE buried there and created a memorial for him in that cemetery because there wasn't one.

Hi Linda

You have a duplicate you added in 2012, which I created in 2009. Could you please remove your duplicate of that entry.
Thanks,

Very strange. My edit request of 2/3/14 reflects Machlan. The gentleman who furnished the parent links must have given Mahan within his edit request. Anyway, thanks for changing it to the correct name, Linda.

Hi Linda,
Thanks for making the edits. I can certainly understand how it happened, but her maiden name is Machlan.

hi!
yes, that is a shame, that i didnt find any names in there, but i didnt take all of them out, just a few. if i end up with any more photos from your town, i'll let you know. i do mostly military photos, but i sometimes have to buy ones like this, to get the ones i want. it's kind of an all or nothing deal,... he he
cant remember where or when i got these, just typed in the name of that the navy guy who's photo i added on here, and up came a picture of his grave, so added it, and then typed in the other one with a name, and up came that one.
they are in one of those 1880's large cloth covered photo album with pages about the size of a sheet of paper. all photos are 1880's-ish.
ttyl!

RE: hi!
i took out a few of the pictures, to see if they had any names on them, but didnt find any. i am assuming they are children of the guy i posted pictures on. could be grand children too,... they all date from the 1880's to about 1900. a few are baby pictures, some are teen age / early 20's photos, and then some middle aged people, and a few tin types, so those would be 1860-70's.

hi!
i am a photograph collector, mostly military, and somehow ended up with a large photo album, for the old card type photos, that has relatives of isaiah cowger in my archive. he died in 1891, and is in your cemetary. the rest of the cards in the album are kids, old people, women, etc. seem to run from 1870 - 1910 or so. some tin types, mostly card size, most taken in sargent photography, from rushville, indiana. if anyone is interested in it, i'd take 100 bucks for it. lots of your county's history in it. mightythor101@aol.com
32 photos total, plus the album.

James Powers
Mertha Smith Hawkins
Hello Linda,

I'm writing in reference to one of the graves you posted a picture of on findagrave.

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=hawkins&GSfn=mertha&GSbyrel=all&GSdy=1905&GSdyrel=before&GSob=n&GRid=39872624&df=all&

My name is James Powers. I descend from Mertha Smith Hawkins' husband Roy (or Leroy) Hawkins. After Mertha's death in early 1902, Roy married Addie Williamson from Muncie. Together they are my great grandparents. I'm trying to learn what became of Roy Hawkins: When, where he died, where he is buried. I'd also like to know what happened to Mertha and the child she had with Roy Hawkins in 1897 named Marion.

Because you photographed Mertha Smith Hawkins stone, I thought you might have information about her or you might know if any other family members are buried near her.

Thanks,
