Hello

You have recorded my great great grandfather Daniel V Thomas

She is supposed to be there also according to her obituary:
Mrs. Ida Thomas, 90,

Dies at Troy, N. Y.

Word was received yesterday of the death in Troy, N. Y., of Mrs. Ida Reynolds Thomas, 90, mother of Mrs. H. M. Cogan of 28 1-2 Brooks St.

Mrs. Thomas was widely known in Charleston, having visited her daughter and grandchildren here frequently. Her last visit was in 1948, when she spent three months in the city.

Mrs. Thomas died at the home of a granddaughter, Mrs. Edward Hauck. She had celebrated her 90th birthday anniversary on Nov. 12. She was a native of Brooklyn, N. Y.

She was an active member of the Colonial Dames for a number of years.

Surviving besides her daughter are six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Orien and Josephine Simmons
Has a mix-up occurred? Is Josephine Simmons #67686036 (which you transferred to me) actually buried in the Jefferson City, Missouri, Jefferson City National Cemetery instead of the Gettysburg Nat'l Cemetery in PA? Her husband, Orien (linked) is placed in the Gettysburg Nat'l Cemetery in PA, also. It was pointed out to me that Orien W. Simmons is on an official list as being buried in Missouri, with an identical headstone photo. Thanks for helping me out with this question.

1861-2010 about Lieutenant Commander Orien W Simmons
Name: Lieutenant Commander Orien W Simmons
Birth Date: 10 Feb 1911
Death Date: 10 Jan 2002
Cemetery: Jefferson City National Cemetery
Burial Location: Jefferson City, Missouri, United States
Section: 11
