Rosanna COBB Chipman
Dear Dolores, Thank you for all your time, your research and your posted information on findagrave. We would, however, like to make a couple of corrections. Rosanna Chipman's maiden name is TOMPKINS. She is the daughter of James TOMPKINS (1781 CT - 1863 NY) and Clarissa STODDARD (1789 VT - 1879 NY). James is the brother of my gggrandfather William. Daughter Harriet (I don't know about the name Palmyra but trust your research) married a COBB per the 1860 Census in Gerry, Chautauqua Co, New York. Harriet is living with her parents. Esther Waterhouse (again I trust your research into her maiden name) CHIPMAN is James W. Chipman's mother. No relation to COBB.
See also (which you may have already done so) the "Sons of the American Revolution Membership Application" by Tracy Matthew Enderabe. Thank you for your consideration, Raymond Tompkins

H. Martin Soward, III
Mother of William Dunham
Thank you for posting the information on the Dunham family. I am a descendant of William Dunham and his wife Lucy Pennoyer Dunham. In the second paragraph you state that William Dunham was a son of Samual Dunham and Lucy Pennoyer. This is incorrect. He was a son of Samuel Dunham and Waitstill Lord. I have done considerable research on this family and have been accepted into the Mayflower Society through the lineage of Lucy Pennoyer Dunham. Would you please consider making a correction on your posting? Thank you.

Archie Ackley
Lathrop Woods
Hi Delores,

I really am sorry to tell you that Lathrop Woods is not buried in the Gerry Cemetery. I can tell that a lot of time and effort was put into the memorial to Lathrop Woods, but he is buried in the Valley Cemetery in Erie, Pennsylvania with his wife Levina and many of descendants and relatives. You can check out the cemetery site which includes a picture of his gravestone.

Thanks for the links. The one for the original will didn't work, it is the same as the family group sheet link. I'd love to get a copy of the original will!

Joseph Loucks will
Dear Dolores,

ON the Joseph Loucks memorial you mention a will signed 11 Oct 1824 in Ellery district, Chautauqua Co. Do you have a copy of the will? Is it possible to obtain a copy? I'm trying to help a woman get into DAR.

Abigail Elizabeth Anthony Lewis
Hi Dee,
This individual is my ggrandmother, wife of Jeptha Malbourn Lewis, and mother of my grandfather, Elisha Lewis. I have never been able to find out where she is buried but presume it is with Jeptha altho the stone is not marked. After Jeptha died in 1878, she lived with her daughter, Harriet Lewis Anthony Moses who is buried with her sons in Mina Cemetery. Abbie doesn't seem to be anywhere. She is listed with Harriet in the 1892 NY census but not in the 1900 census so she must have died between those dates. She was born in RI in 1808. She was the granddaughter of William Ellery, Signer of the Declaration of Independence.
Anyway, I was wondering, since you are from the area, if there is any way to determine where she might be buried? Thanks for your time and effort.
