Hi Linda, thanks so much for your note. I'm glad to hear you always check the edits, I do the same thing.
I've seen the Scully and Quick trees on Ancestry and both have errors. William H. (we don't have proof his middle name is Henry) and Elizabeth Wheeler are my great great grandparents. They also had a son named John but his middle initial is C. and he's buried at Wiltwyck Cemetery. The Ellsworth's in the Old Hurley Cemetery and many in the Hurley Cemetery are related but so far I haven't found the burials of Abram and Hester or others from that generation, most of whom I've traced to a settlement in the Eagle's Nest in Hurley. I suspect they were first generation immigrants. If you'd like to transfer John to me I'll be happy to maintain his memorial.

I think I got them disconnected this time. I thought I had done that once before but apparently what I did didn't work. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

|tess goldman||Catherine A. Flynn|
Hi - I just stumbled across the info for a Catherine A. Flynn buried at St. Josephs Cemetery in Sacramento. There is a photo of the marker that does not list her maiden name, so I am curious how you know that it was Barrett.
The reason I am asking is that I've always assumed she was not a relative of mine even though she is buried quite close to my great-grandparents. But if she is a Barrett there may be a way for me to find a connection.
I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks.

Thank you - I will look for the mortuary info. when I am at the library - I use their subscription but don't have one myself. Appreciate hearing where you got that and thank you for speedy reply. If it doesnt say much more in the mortuary info I will order the death cert. Thanks.

Your wonderful details on Patrick O'hea bur. at St. J in Sacramento included note about mortuary information. Could you please tell me the name of the mortuary or how you acquired that - was it at the cemetery or did you go to a current mortuary or some mortuary record that is now at a library? I am trying to establish whether it is definitely one of my family. I would very much like to see his death record. Thanks for any direction you can give me. I realize you are volunteer and this is extra, just asking about the source you quoted how you got that. Catherine Green

|steveslc||Kenneth Carroll - Ft. Logan|
Your email is associated with a photo posted to my brother's Find A Grave website in Ft. Logan National Cemetery. That is a "family" picture that I was surprised to see, so I'm wondering if you are somehow connected to Kenneth's family. I would love to find my nieces as well as my nephew's (Kenneth Jr.) grave cite.

She is a relative and her maiden name is misspelled. She is the daughter of Giovanni Stralla and Paola Taricco of Drytown, California.

Good grief, they are confusing! I am glad it is not just me! I live pretty close and I will do what I can to straighten out any discrepancies but not too hopeful b/c this family has a fairly private history and on top of that, as I'm sure you know, records were not always kept on everything/everyone. Thanks for your input and help!

Ok, I looked at it to fix and I'm confused, were they twins with the same name? Or gave the surviving twin the deceased one's name? Because the bio by Cookie Huckaby states the same birthdate as the infant's that you created except a different death date. Please let me know so I can fix. Thanks!

|Daystcat||RE: Elisabeth Wheeler Ellsworth|
Thank you for offering to transfer her memorial. Yes, I'd like to manage hers, and if you're willing, William H. Ellsworth's 19049204. Are you related to the family?
Most of the Ellsworth's & Elsworth's in Old Hurley and Hurley Cemeteries are related to me but I'll just send updates for the others. I haven't been able to find my other 2x great grandmother, Maria Bush Ellsworth (Elsworth). Her husband James H. Ellsworth died in the Civil War and is buried in Virginia. I'm almost certain she's buried in Old Hurley Cemetery as her sister Hester Bush Elsworth is there, and John E. (son of Abram and Hester) who was my g-grandfather's cousin and best friend.
Thanks so much for creating the memorials.

Thanks so much for the quick response! The memorials look really great. I don't mind at all if you add the gravestone photos to them. It supposed to be rainy here for the next week, but as soon as the ground dries up, Ill definitely try to get back over there and start clearing the dirt off the flat markers with a broom. Talk to you later :)

Okay, thanks for the information. You already transferred the memorial a long time ago (because I am a descendant of hers) so I'll make the move now. Thanks again.

Hi. You created a memorial for Eve Haner (1785-1827). I just received a message from a Find A Grave contributor saying that Eve is actually buried elsewhere in the county, at the Original Lutheran Cemetery in Haynersville. Do you recall if you actually saw a marker for her in Schaghticoke, or if you just read about that location? The current memorial has an inscription but I requested a photo for it long ago, and it was never fulfilled. Thanks.
