RE: Simmons
I happen to have a couple of pictures of Mary when she was a young girl along with her sister Ada. I will try to get it loaded up today :) :) (I have to remember where I put them!) I have a bunch of people in the Entrekin Cemetery! The main ones are

Jesse Colon Simmons
Lemuel Alexander Simmons
Mary Leona Simmons Entrekin

(they are are siblings to my grandfather)

According to my genealogy file, I have 33 people buried out there :)

RE: Simmons
No problem! I didn't realize you were related. I will give you the info.

Mary's parents are
James Elexander Simmons #73805465
Corrine Elizabeth Graham Simmons #73805577

Mary's brother Houston (William Houston Simmons) was my grandfather. I spoke to Mary's son Hilton many times before he died. I have also spoken with her daughter Lois.

I would love to know how you are related!

Hugs...

Linda Ellis
David
David Medill is the son of Rev David Lemuel & Frances Annie Elizabeth Perry. She reportedly died near Perkinston [Stone Co] in 1920. Rev David later married Carrie Viola Walters, then they divorced.
Rev David Lemuel was an itinerant Baptist preacher, so he very well could have pastored at Little Creek Baptist.

FrancesK,
I'm sorry none of my messages got to you. I'm sure it was operator error. Email I can do just fine, but evidently not via FindAGrave!

I was sending you a request to manage HH Harris and his wife Penelope Gill Harris. They are my G-G-grandparents. I would like to add more info on them from my genealogy docs.

Thanks a bunch!

Frances
I have no idea where Marmaduke and Marta Hornsby are buried, but I do know they are not buried at
Richardson Cemetery. According to your information he died in 1843 in Williamson County which is a couple of hundred miles from Tyler County. Also Richardson cemetery is on the site of A. J. Richardson's homestead which was not settled until after 1850. There are very few burials prior to the 1850/60 period that are recorded anywheres in Texas.

Bessie Byrd
FYI -- According to 1900 Census for Marion County, MS, Bessie was born Aug 1896. She would have been 7 years old at her death. She is the daughter of William Harvey and Sallie (Bounds) Byrd; my great-great grandparents.

BTW -- I've really appreciated all your hardwork. You've made researching my family a treasured journey. Thank you.

Clarence Davis
Francis,

First, I want to thank you for your hard work, taking and placing photos for Slade Cemetery in Lamar County, MS.

I was just wondering whether you had the full picture of Clarence Davis' (16 Jan 1893 - 16 Feb 1977) tombstone. The one displayed only has the top portion, leaving off the date of death. I was thinking it may have accidently been cropped off, and I was hoping to have some supporting documentation for the date of death given.

Again, thanks for your hard work.

RE: Lambert and Kirkland
Francis, I know it is hard to lose a parent. My nephew's wife lost her dad Sherwood Currie Lambert last year. Since I was at the cemetery, I went ahead and took photos of all at Forest Grove and entered the missing ones. Interesting cemetery! I think everyone is related. The cemetery is well maintained. If any I added you wish to maintain just let me know.
