Greeting Delphine Richter Thomas, thank you for adding the paper clipping of William Kutzorik obit. Where did you get it? Are you a relative? Do you have any other Kutzorik obits? Thanks again. I appreciate your adding it.

Memorial # 114896738
Just an FYI that I added grave stone photo to her memorial. Placement should have defaulted to under the people picture, but didn't. You may want to resort the order they appear.
Don't have exact plot location, be she's in Section 22.

Thanks for the correction concerning Robert Schwartz. I have no photos of the other Schwartz grave sites.

Charles Zea
Joseph M. Schwartz family
I searched for the grave sites of Joseph M Schwartz b: Nov 15, 1892, d: June 12, 1979, Rose (Lorenz) Schwartz b: May 19 1907, d: Nov 19, 1973 and two sons: Robert J. b:Aug 5, 1936, d: Dec 3, 2000, Norbert E. b: Nov 19, 1928, d: Feb 14, 2001

The only one I found was Robert J. posted as buried in the Greenwood Cemetery.

According to their Obits interment for all four was at the Calvary Cemetery. Is the posting for Robert wrong or is the obit wrong.

Is it possible to post photos of the grave sites of Joseph, Rose and Norbert.

Thank You,
Charlie Zea

RE: Floyd Barchenger
I have no source other than the grave stone and assumption.
The grave stone has born 1923 died 1924, so I thought perhaps you had erred on date and wrote Stanley Alton's birth year. You have them as twins. If baby Floyd only lived 4 months, then either the birth year or death year is incorrect.
As to the name, again it was assumption that you wrote Alton instead of Donald - mixing up Stanley Alton with what is in Floyd's bio (you state his name as Floyd Donald on both children's bio's)

Having done a lot of photographing at CLake, and working also with their lot cards, I will say that the cemeteries records are not 100 percent reliable. If they said his name is Floyd Alton, and his birth date is 1919 I can certainly delete said grave stone photo and create memorial for this baby - and assume it is a different baby Floyd Barchenger....

Nice photo of the new marker, thanks for letting me know.
If you wish, I can take the original temporary marker photo off. Just let me know. I know you cannot do it yourself, so just send me a message anytime. DiAnn

I added the obit, but also transferred him over to you - he belongs with family :) Jo

I received your message and added the obit you requested.

Would you care for her memorial if I transferred it to you? I am in no way related, nor do I have further information to add, as I am sure you would. You could fill in the dates/locations/links which would be so nice. Also, ANYONE else you see at St. Boniface cemetery you would be willing to care for I would gladly transfer over to you. I lived next to it and enjoyed doing the photograph/memorial project, even though I did not know anyone buried there.

Just let me know! DiAnn

RE: Howard Otto Lemke and wife
Thanks. I believe her first husband was a Mr. Oerter so I had her name as Oerter when she married Howard Lemke. I assume Howard had divorced Elaine (versus being widowed) before marrying Donna June, but that's not as important as fixing the connections on the family tree.

Howard Otto Lemke and wife
OK, I spoke with Linda Brostad. She is indeed the daughter of Howard and Elaine Hoeschen Lemke. So is Donna Lee. Howard's second wife was Donna June (last name unknown), who had Giselle and Mitchell by Howard. Donna also had a son James Oerter from a previous marriage. Thanks

Howard Otto Lemke and wife
Hi Delphine
Howard's obit states his wife was Donna. State birth records indicate that the mother of his daughters Linda Louise (Brostad) and Donna Lee (Sherlin) was Elaine Hoeschen, not Donna June . Am I mixing up this Howard Otto Lemke with someone else or did he have two wives? Thanks.

RE: Anna Remjeske
This is good. I didn't have a marriage date for Reinhold and Anna, so that helped. I read John Remjeske's obit and it didn't mention his son Donald E., who was born the year before he died (1921), but he is mentioned in the 1930 census as Donald "Remfeske", living with Reinhold and Anna along with the other younger Remjeske siblings Carl, Laura and Edward as well as Reinhold's youngest, Alice Jopp.

RE: Anna Remjeske
Excellent! This particular case was also serendipitous for me because it was one of the things I asked Allegra (Lee) Sjurseth when I visited in June. She told me that Reinhold Jopp had married her cousin (once removed)Alice (Lemke) Remjeske after his wife died of smallpox. Well, most of this was confirmed and correlated with what you had written in findagrave, so I appreciate your hard work. Of course, Lee passed away last month at 92. Wish I could have asked more questions about that tangled web of family relations out in Farming township!

Hi, I was wondering if you were close enough to this cemetery to find her mom and Dad, who maybe there too. Her Dad is Albert died 1925 and Mom Catherine or Katherine died 1950. Thank you Deb

Sharil Rutherford Van Cleave
RE: Fuerstenberg
Hi Delphine:

the only daughter connected with them is Margaretha Ahmann #7029062, but another name besides yours is on the memorial. When you asked about transferring Lorenz'(#118826596) daughter, you didn't reference a name or memorial # so I am not sure which one you meant. The known daughters I have for him are:

Sr. Emerentia Maria Lucia Fuerstenberg
Margaretha Fuerstenberg Ahmann (mentioned above)
Sr. Cyrilla Elisabeth Fuerstenberg
Maria Magdalene "Lena" Fuerstenbert Ellet
Anna Gertrude Fuerstenberg (1883-1885)
Appolina "Lona" Fuerstenberg Wilson Parsons
Gertrude Fuerstenberg Wedel

I'm not sure which of these daughters you manage the memorial for.

Thank you

RE: Paul Gritzmacher■
De nada, mi Amiga... I'm not related so a transfer is not necessary/desired. I'm working on a personal project for next Memorial Day. My goal is to identify/confirm basic information about the service men/women from Stearns County that made the supreme sacrifice for the freedoms we hold close. Ultimately I'll do a bit of a report on them and their "Gold Star Families."

My immediate focus will be on those from the Melrose area... since that is where I was born, but who knows after that. I just figured that once I found out additional information on them, I'd better share it... so this might not be the last time you hear from me. ;o)

Thanks for all you do in creating these Find A Grave memorials; you've already made my job easier!

Namaste, "PJ"
