Lulbegrud/Prewitt
Thank you for your help. My grandmother's genealogy does mention both the Lulbegrud and the Prewitt names, but I was hoping to find proof that my ancestors were members there for documentation purposes. A genealogist friend sent me a link to a Primitive Baptist church history website in Carthage, IL and it had a link to some Montgomery Co., KY churches such as Lulbegrud. It also had a few Clark County, KY churches like Goshen in Winchester. Elder Thomas Boone was a minister for both.

Question -- Lulbegrud Church
I'm researching my 3rd great grandfather, Elder Martin White (#50298335) and his wife, Kiturah Ann Fletcher White (#50298934). Supposedly, Kitty's uncle, John Fletcher's (#140073340)daughter, Elmaza married a Samuel Boone. She died and he remarried and went to Missouri. I have no idea where she is buried & she does not come up in Findagrave's database, however, I did find Samuel & his father, Elder Thomas Boone here. My grandmother said the Whites & Fletchers resided around Lulbegrud church in Montgomery county, KY. I found a postcard of the church in the Kansas History Digital files on their website. Do you happen to know if there are church records available? I have not be able to find a historical society website for Montgomery county nor get anyone to answer my questions at the Mt. Sterling Public Library. There is a Coach Fletcher at Morehead, but no one answered that email either. Any help would be much appreciated.

Lulbegrud Cemetery
I will see if I can find the right person to get the county changed. I found out that actually there are three entries for this same cemetery -- Boone/Prewitt, Lulbegrud Church, & Lulbegrud Creek.

RE: Campton Burial grounds.
Kendel, I checked around and according to JB Stamper at the newspaper office the name of the cemetery above The Old Campton Burying Grounds is Horton Cemetery. This is also confirmed by an obit on Laura G (Jennie) Horton that died in 1997. I also talked to Emily Lacy and Linda Cecil and they confirm that the cemetery is Horton Cemetery and not a part of The Old Campton Burying Grounds.

I am sure when you did the memorials that the big wroght iron fence was not around The Old Campton Burying Grounds which would leave you to believe that it was one big cemetery. I don't know when the fence was put up.

Would you prefer that I send you an edit on each memorial that you put in the Old Campton Burying Ground so that you can transfer them to Horton Cemetery. I just set it up, but I don't want to add the name cause than they would be duplicated.

RE: Campton Burial grounds.
I will have to check around. I know when you did the memorials there was no black wrought iron fence surrounding the one cemetery. So whoever had something to do with putting that fence around the Old Campton Burying Grounds and not around the other part had a reason for doing so. I will let you know when and if I find out that the part that is not fenced has a different name. I did go ahead and add the photos.

Richmond Hollon, etal
Hi Kendel,

I just got thru photographing the graves next to Old Campton Burying Grounds on the other side of the fence. I noticed you have memorials for Richmond & Sarah Hollon and several others showing they are buried in the Old Campton Burying Grounds. I thought the graves on the outside of the fence were a separate cemetery. Any help is appreciated. There are 10 graves total on the other side of the fence.

Please Merge
There are two cemeteries that need merging ==
1. Boone Cemetery, Prewitt, Montgomery Co, KY

Both have Thomas Boone (1785-1855)#120045358 & #48860604 listed.
He was the husband of Sarah "Sallie" Muir Boone (1786-1861) #120045225 & #48860633.

Thanks.

Heaton and Henry headstones
Thank-you for posting the Heaton and Henry headstones. I'm branching out more in family history. These photos make the history, which is almost completely just census records, more real to me. All the volunteer time is very much appreciated. (I am a volunteer at the Louisville Zoo--so I know time is precious to all of us.) Thanks again!

Culbertsons @ Philadelphia National
Hello. I'm looking into the Culbertson requests at Philadelphia National Cemetery, i.e. James and "And" Culbertson. These names have not turned up in the cemetery records. If you have any further information on them, such as dates of birth, or dates and locations of deaths, these would be helpful in locating the graves.

Thanks,
~ Tim G.
