RE: Dr Reuben Gentry Warren
No, that's the only photo that I have. Are you a relative? If so, I could arrange to have the original photo sent to you. I had thought he died without any living heirs.

Gussie Brunty
Hi Karen,
I have made the transfer of your Aunt Gussie's memorial to you today. It was an honor to create a memorial for her--you don't see too many memorials for women who were veterans of WW II. Happy to place her in your care.

Karen, your photos are nice! I posted mine on their memorials, but if you want me to remove them, let me know. You WON'T hurt my feelings if you want them removed. (I haven't figured out yet just who is allowed to remove photos)

Thanks for clearing up a mystery for me. That grave stone was unnamed in two old censuses of the cemetery.

Yes - the portrait photos are nice!

Karen, If you'll make the memorials for the children, I'll post photos of their headstone.

You're welcome Karen. I was hesitant to post that picture because you already had good pictures, and with the tree branch in the way. . . .

Glad you liked it.

I am mystified by the little grave stone on the right in that picture. I have it labeled as "Unknown Allison Child" in my files. Do you have any information on the person buried there?

Woodlawn Lincoln/Raynor
Karen, I was able to find plot 58 at Woodlawn, but there doesn't appear to be any stones there. I looked for the note you had left on the photo requests but it's gone now. I was going to post the photos of the plot, but wanted to make sure I had the right plot first. I know you also quoted from the Saga of Southern Illinois ( is that right?) regarding the stones. Would you mind posting that again please? Like I said, just want to make sure I have the right plot. You can just post it in my messages or on a photo request, whatever is easiest for you. Thanks.

RE: Deleting a memorial
On the memorial page it says [Delete] on the top right, just above the photo spot. Hope that helps.

If you call the cemetery and get the grave location the photos can be taken. The cemetery is not Find A Grave friendly. They will give grave location to family over the phone though.

Karen, thank you for adding more information about the Lincoln/Raynor graves in Woodlawn. Many many stones in that cemetery are completely unreadable and worn to smooth stone, but with the further information you provided I will try again to find them.

Millie Fleming O'Guinn
I was looking for this marker for your photo request and couldn't find it; however, after reading the obit information it looks like you have her maiden and last name reversed...? I assume I should be looking for a marker that reads "Millie O'Guinn" if so, you can edit her name on the entry to reflect that and I will look for her as an O'Guinn. :)

photo request
I was down in Pulaski co. today and located the Cairo City Cemetery in Villa Ridge, IL. I could not find the grave of Catherine Lincoln. That is a very old, isolated cemetery on top of a large hill. If I can, this summer, I may go back to look, again and take someone with me. I am so sorry.

I linked her to her husband, but am not sure if she was born in Germany (I don't find a town named Nassau in the pull-down menu) or is just of German descent and born in some Nassau in the U.S.

Unmarked Graves at Mount Olivet
I searched this entire section and no markers were located for the following people.

Louis LePreux
Dennis Kane
Dorothy Kane

Contact the cemetery and see if they can tell you what marked graves are close by and I will go take a pictures of the area.

Thanks for your kind words, Karen. The obituary for the little guy was so sweet. I will put Mamie down in my research notebook. It's so hard tracking women who marry sometimes. I will let you know if I run across any thing pertaining to this family. Thanks again!

Ah - it's very easy. Just click on Edit on the top right of the memorial you'd like transferred. Then click on "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" and provide your FindAGrave ID number.
