Thank you for submitting headstone photos for Aaron and Anna Clouser, at Greenlawn Cemetery in Tiffin, OH.
Would you have any objection to me using your photos, so that I can add a photo to Elizabeth's memorial? I would give you credit for the photo, of course.

Lee family, seneca county
My name is Jeremy franks and I live in Tiffin. I have seen that you have added material related to the lee line on here, and I believe that i have seen your name elsewhere. I am descended from Arza Lee, who was one of Gershom's sons. I have been researching the lee family for several years, and have gleaned most of the easily accessible info from our library as well as the hayes library. I would be interested in contacting you to share notes or find out any info I don't have yet. My aunt and I have photos and letters from the Lee family but only back to my Great Great Grandfather Fred Lee, who was Arza's son. You can contact me at

RE: Gilbert R Rice
Gilbert has an interesting maternal ancestry. His mother was Mary Catherine Hess, the daughter of Adam Hess and Sarah Hess. Adam and Sarah were first cousins. Adam was the son of William Hess and Mary Ann Decker. Sarah was the daughter of Jacob Hess and Mary Daniels. Poor Sarah died in childbirth with the her second daughter on 17 April 1868. Adam then married another first cousin Dorothy Hess the daughter of Jeremiah Hess and Catherine Daniels. I am a Hess research and have all the court records if you are interested. Thank you again for the tombstone picture.

RE: Help from Seneca
Thank you Linda. That is a very generous offer I might just take you up on. David A. McManigal and Emma Jane Harris were married there in 1849 and had 10 children. I only have death and burial info on 2 children. Still looking for the parents and rest of children. I will have to do some searching through the website to see what more I can find as far as dates go. It is probably safe to say that I would be related to any McManigal's in the area at that time. David came from Centre Co, Pa, a child of my 3rd great grandfather. When I have done enough research I will contact you again. Thank yoy for your generosity. Laurie

Help from Seneca
Yes, Linda, I did get your email and I thank you. I was aware of this repository and used it in the past, though the obits were 1 liners and didn't yield results that were very helpful. These relatives are a little more distant so I haven't invested as much effort herein. I found a record on ancestry after my grave request was fulfilled which established that Elizabeth C. McManigal is nee Marshall so you were right about that and I will still need to research about the daughter. Thank you again. I got swamped with data recently as I had someone who fulfilled a multitude of requests for me in Ill that I have been emptying from my email. Laurie

Hi Linda,
I was just working on adding some Ohio family, and happened upon the grave photos you added for Charles & Elsie Young. I'll probably never get out that way, so thanks very much!
