I think I'm going to hang on to Craig Bodzianowski's memorial for a little while longer--at least until I find out where he's buried and get a picture of his tombstone. At that point, I'll probably cede it to you. As for your other virtual Sandburg class cemeteries, I can tell you that Randy Cerven should be in the class of '83 and not '84. He would have graduated with me had he lived long enough. You don't have Jeff Alm in a cemetery but I'm pretty sure he graduated with my brother in 1986 and not '85. Patricia Walsh (61280785) was in the class of '83. If you have an '83 yearbook, seniors Robert E. "Robby" Deery, Jr. (3/11/1965-9/22/2000), Maya Naumoff, and Jim Popowski are all deceased but I don't have exact dates on the last two. Popowski died in either late '83 or early '84 in a park parking lot on Christena Ave. in the Villa d'Este subdivision of Orland during the winter as he was sleeping in his car. Maybe that helps.

Mary Arvidson
St Adalbert Cemetery-Ignatius Plucinski
Hi-I positively identified where Ignatius is buried and the gravesite is unmarked. I posted a picture showing where it is with flowers. If you don't want that picture posted let me know and I'll remove it...Mary

William Nicolai at Forest Home Cemetery
Hi! I need the burial Section and Lot Numbers in order to take a photograph for you. This cemetery's staff does not help photo volunteers, and the burial location is not available anywhere else.

Phone: 708-366-1900

Last year I fulfilled over 450 photo requests at this cemetery after the burial location was provided.

Thank you!

Michael Stanley Klimczak
RE: Term Graves at St. Adalbert's
Thanks for the reply. Each time I've gone into the office they have usually been friendly. I wanted to take a picture of one of the old books that contained the burial info (there was a hand drawn picture from the late 1800s in it) but was told that was illegal. Ever heard of that? I think he was being difficult because those were relatives, not strangers. I could prove it too.

Term graves
Just out of sheer nosiness - what is a 'term' grave - not heard of that in this country (scotland).

Waszko - Darmofal
Hi, Helen Darmofal Waszko is how I am related. About 10 years ago I starting figuring out that my real biological father was Richard Waszko. While there still to not be a shred of documentation that links me t him, some family oral history has cropped up to so indicate my heritage. Any Darmofal info that you'd be willing to share will help me with my on-going research. Thanks so much.

RE: Christian Kuech
Thank you very much! Can I ask where you found the parent's information for Christian Kuech? It was from your FindAGrave entry of him that I learned his mother's middle name was Bertha. I was also very happy last week to have located & photographed his father Paulus' grave in another cemetery! Thanks again for updating the sibling info.

RE: Josiah Hopkins
No problem, GeneaProtector, I admire all the hard work you've done. It must be difficult to manage all those memorials!

RE: Stephen Raley
Thank you so much! I was happy with how it was when it first appeared, so am thrilled now. I've added a very short biography...I'm not a family member, and his obituary mentions most of what I know of his life. I just knew him personally, and his personality was warm, funny and sweet. Thank you for all of the work you do for the Sandburg students who have left us. I'm sure there is a great deal of work involved, and I don't know how you manage to keep them all straight there are so many of them! Thank you, again!

RE: Stephen Raley
Just wanted to thank you for all the work involved in getting Stephen's record transferred and adding him to the list of Carl Sandburg HS students. Very heartfelt thanks!

Kenneth Williamson
Thank you for your work in gathering the info for Kenneth (Spook) and Joan Williamson, both laid to rest at First Evangelical Lutheran in Alsip, IL. As a kid, I grew up across the street from them in Midlothian and knew their family very well. In fact, "Spook" was everybody's (surrogate) Uncle Kenny.
The real reason for my message, though, is to ask what you may know of their son, Ken Jr. Ken Jr passed unexpectedly as a young man during a fire in their home and was also laid to rest within the same cemetery.
