|Kenneth D. Tyler||Albert Henry Tyler|
Dave -- Found your name through memorials you've added for Albert Henry Tyler and family in Plainfield Twp. Cemetery in Will County, Illinois. Not too many of us with Tyler surnames around. I am a descendant of Roger Tyler's son Peter.
My Tyler connections lived in Connecticut and then in Berkshire County, Massachusetts before moving west to Iowa. I, too, have been a family historian for about 20 years. You can connect with me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Yes, I noticed and appreciate that, but it's best to post the actual transcription on the memorial before it becomes more unreadable. As the many people who read the memorial copy it, it will be preserved in many family records for generations. Thanks for helping to make this happen. It's also interesting to read these headstones that have a verse or other information that we don't generally have on our cryptic modern graveplates.

Thanks for the transfer! This is just a guess, but the verse at the bottom might go something like this:
"Death's dark path that
must be trod, if you
could ever pass to God."
(could/would/should) Just a guess. Did you ever write the verse?

|William Taber||RE: Esther & Harrison Dinsmore|
Dave - I don't live nearby, but the cemetery readings from 1985 by Wendell C. and Jean C. Tombaugh (available online at the Fulton County library website) show Harrison and Esther DInsmore in Poplar Grove Cemetery, SE Section, Row 13. So their location was verified in 1985. Their location was again confirmed in 2011 by Kim White. Additionally, all other Dinsmore burials in Culver are at Poplar Grove. Harrison is buried next to his parents Adam and Alice Dinsmore in Poplar Grove.

Thanks for the additional info. I added the info you sent to Solomon and Mary. You will have to add the parents to the children, Sophia and John. If you would like I will transfer the memorials for Solomon and Mary to you. The birth and death dates for Mary are from the reading by Paul Mayberry in 1999. These are published in Madison and Walnut Towhship Cemetery Inscriptions published by the Pickaway Co. Historical Society in Circleville. I did not see the stones, and the date could most certainly be the 3 instead of the 5.

I also posted a photo for Rhoda Godard, mother of the Captain, and for Mary Godard, daughter of the Capt. and Adela. I will transfer the memorial pages to you, if you'd like.

|Ginny DeLong Parker||Cyrus Tyler|
I claimed a photo request for Cyrus Tyler. Would you happen to have any more information on him? Was he married, and if so to whom? I can't find his grave and it might help to know who his wife was in case he was buried in her family plot.
Thanks so much.

|Ginny DeLong Parker||Elinor Tyler Schutt|
I fulfilled a photo request for Stephen Tyler in Willow Glen Cemetery in Dryden, NY. He and his wife were listed on the reverse of a headstone for Monroe Schutt and his wife "Elinor Tyler Schutt". I am assuming there is a connection with Elinor with Stephen Tyler. Daughter, maybe? Just wanted you to know since you set up Stephen Tyler's memorial. I will go ahead and set up a memorial for Monroe Schutt and Elinor Tyler Schutt unless you want to. Please let me know.
